Is the relationship between the words "Illuminati" & "Lucifer" coincidence?

Both words are dealing with light. Is this just a coincidence or are they satan-worshippers?

They do take on the opposite polarity of "good" as most people would view things, but to them that's what good is I guess.

Probably more like social Darwinism, they can therefore they should. But i have no idea, i have not met the creme de la creme of the elite myself...
