Who is "our founders?" What exactly is this "new order of the ages?" And what did Pres. Bush mean by, "ancient hope that is meant to be fulfilled?"

This was the President of the United States of America, the most powerful nation on the earth.

That, for the last 2500 years we've been trying to hold one world under 1 law. And that somehow, our American culture since WWII has been trying to fulfill a "purpose" to spread democracy to the world.

Or at least that's what I understood out of that area... I declined this series a few days ago, so I'm gona watch the full thing now aha.
