It's great to go barefoot.
We know that it is.
Feeling temperatures and surfaces;
Oh, golly! Gee, whiz!

It's woe to go barefoot.
We know that it's so.
People make all those grimaces;
It gets us so low.

Well, according to mainstream society people who prefer walking barefoot are weird in general... There's nothing wrong about yanking the eccentricity up a few notches every now and then, IMO.
