    Hi -

I live N. of Dallas Texas. Our last average frost date is March 25. We usually plant out tomatoes, tobacco and peppers the first week of April. I start my peppers during the second week of February since they generally take an extra week or more to germinate, then the next week start my tomatoes and tobacco. After that, I start certain herbs and then other garden transplants that some people prefer to buy rather than grow from seed, like squash, cucumber, okra &etc.

Find your last average frost date and start the peppers about 7 weeks before that indoors and they will be ready to plant out.

    Bob
