combo question- mushrooms and morphine

k so i've done opiates a bit so i'm sorta familiar with effects, but my use is far from even "occasional"- and my tolerance is as low as possible. i've also never taken morphine specifically but i've done others.

i was wondering if anyone has taken a combination of mushrooms and morphine? usually i wouldn't think to combine narcotics with psychedelics, but from what i'm reading, morphine is really mellow and slow and might actually combine well with a low (half eighth) dose of mushroms.

anyone have any experience with this? like i said, the fact that it's morphine (as opposed to oxy/hydro/heroin etc) is what attracts me to this.

there's not a lot of info online, though what i could find on opiates/mushroms suggested it has potential to be pretty good.

 

From personal experiance the opiate ( In my case was heroin ) it definately dampened down the effects from the mushrooms, and you will loose a lot of memory from the actual trip ..

The way i see it one closes doors in the mind, and the other opens doors so theyre acting against each other imo .. One thing i did like to do ( When i was into using H ) is on the comedown from the shrooms have a slow smoke of the h, few lines every few minutes and that will relax you into a real nice rounded off mellow buzz .. without wasting the full potential of the trip earlier on.

One other thing i had a trip with some liberty caps whilst i was 3 days into a heroin detox years ago, and it was the only bad trip ive had with shrooms, i felt realy cold, and my hands / arms were fusing with objects i touched like the spindles on a stairway banister, and felt i couldnt let go of things ( Properly fused / joined ) Realy heavy it was.
I went on to do some realy stupid things that night, and ended up being thrown out of a mates house with what was later confirmed " A broken jaw " I think its outrageous and still cant beleive someone actually cracked me for what i did, i didnt know what i was doing and had supposedly been out of order, still dont agree with what happened, as they knew i was tripping like everyone else was .. tripping and violence .. not right at all.
I didnt even know id been belted untill i came down and tried to open my mouth ..

So what im trying to say with this is when you've used heroin or other heavy opiates for a while and you stop, then take a trip before your body re adjusts the shrooms will open the flood gates in your mind and can be quite over whelming / disorientating.

 

oh yeah that definitely makes sense... that sounds like a really bad night though, sorry to hear.

i'm definitely not anywhere near physical addiction to opiates, the last time i did any was some hydrocodone a couple months back.

the dose of mushrooms i have is pretty low (2 grams at most), so i'm not expecting a trip really, more just a mellow night at home with my cat (tripped from this batch before, not very strong).

though that does make sense about conflicting directions. i think i may just take the mush and then the morphine about 4 hours in, or whenever i feel the peak of the trip starting to fade.

Ive got libs drying in the house now, but as im now 20 days into a H substitute detox im just using my time gathering shrooms and will be embarking on trips when ive gone full circle and feel fully well again
Also well clean from H for over a year now, so im re alighning with the road of self discovery again, and am preparing to re learn the things ive forgotten through past opiate abuse.

Opiates imo = temparary door closing bollocks .. and psychedelics are edcation and insight, even if you cant recall what you have learnt you will of still picked somthing up for the better ..

Snort that shit on the comedown. If its a really low dose, well 2 grams makes me "+++", but if its not a tripping balls dose I would probably do it after the mushrooms digest. I can imagine the combo may produce a bit of nausea. I always throw up on opiate pills. IV heroin doesnt give me much nausea at all for some strange reason.

 

hmm yeah i mean these mushrooms aren't all that strong, it might not even be a full two grams but it's definitely going to be a more recreational dose than anything majorly psychedelic. i'm thinking i might not even do it though, i'll probably just enjoy the opiate and trip some other time.

and morphine actually has a horrible bioavailability when snorted, something like 10% as opposed to 35% orally. rectally is even higher so i'll probably go that route seeing as i don't have very much of it.

 

Nah, I have done a bunch of morphine pills. I think the next best way other than snorting is the rectal admin. But I used to have a bunch of 60mg pills. With out tolerance, snorting would give me a nice mellow buzz, great with dank nugs. When I would pop one, it wouldnt do anything noticable at all.

 

i've combined morphine with mushrooms once, long ago, and it was a lame trip.

i would never combine opiates and psychedelics nowadays.

 

Mushrooms and morphine sound like a pretty sweet combo, and I would most certainly like to try it. I agree that it will 'damped' the trip, so I would advise not to take them at the same time. If I were you, Id take the mushrooms and then the morphine on the comedown.

^yep that's what i think i'm gonna do... i'll still get the mushroom boost with the morphine but i'll be able to enjoy the trip while i'm peaking.

 

Should be nice, I have never taken pills on psychedelics though. But both give you a very nice and sedating body high. Imagine if the body high from mushrooms could be like shot up without the tripping part. So many people would be hooked.
