A little over 2 months man. I TnR'd and some of them stayed in, some fell out. Haven't fussed over my hair at all. At about 2 weeks in I was all into taking care of them and shit but then I saw some pictures of people with all natural dreads and I couldn't believe how sick they looked. So for the last month and a half I haven't done a thing. I like feeling them thought because some parts are locked more than others. There's like 5 of them that have spots that are locked up so much. I washed my hair a couple hours before this pic so my hair is at that kind of damp stage so it looks greasy. I even concocted my own dread shampoo.... The only ingredient I will give away is baking soda... The rest is a secret. My hair smells great nonetheless. I just can't believe it's been this long, it seems like yesterday I was all scared that it wouldn't work but now the real progress is just starting. It's fuckin' awesome. There's one dread on the back of my head that is basically done in most parts, I don't know why that particular dread locked up so fast but it's actually almost a perfect dreadlock... I wish the rest was like it lol.
I say you invest in a tripod But from what I can tell they look superb. Or maybe just super. Do you sleep the same way each night? That would explain the one on the back of your head.
DO u have a mirror ? because i do the mirror pics and that works great.. Try it, i really think it will work better. Because you really cant see your dreads at all man..
well i just got done reading Natural Philosophy's comprehensive FAQ and im assuming you used the back comb method considering this was a 2 month update. they look pretty rad! you mentioned baking soda as a cleaning agent. i might have to try that cause ive just been using water. no shampoo around here haha i guess that might have contributed to my little dreadlocks just happening.
Judging by your photo's you may want to invest in a crotchet hook.... it will help remove the blurry'ness from the photo's.
Sehr gut mah hombre! I've got the same dealio with my back dread, it turned into a glorious fattie right quick from snoozing on it. Hopin a buddie of mine will TnR his hair, but we'll see...
