When i get stoned i turn into such a hippy. i love plants and animals and stuff and i start tjhinkning and talking about trees as people. i got really defensive when someone started hurting a tree lol. besides obviously being amazed and entranced by nature when stoned, who turns into a tree hugging hippy like me?

When I'm stoned I find myself saying "Man, look at the trees, so beautiful. I also think about how humans can destroy the environment without batting an eyelash. But I don't have to be stoned to realize that.

Agreed. I've always had a little bit of hippy in me. Always been an environmentalist. Weed just makes me really KNOW the depth of our connection to the world, lets me FEEL the connection, rather than just think about it. So yeah, when I'm stoned it gets to feeling like it isn't nature that's being hurt...it's me that is hurt, because we are one.

I think about the world without humans, that it would be perfect if it were just animals....then i start thinking about how cars and such were created and everything and whether animals would have created what we created and that it's weird that we have all these houses around us but if we dind't then we'd just be roaming off the land and then i think about how werid it is that people move from house to house and such...i write all this shit down when i'm stoned and its funny in the mornings. I don't remember the stuff i've written, its funny.
I am a "hippy" though, and I also think about all this stuff when I'm not stoned, it just gets weirder with the cars and houses and such when I am stoned. ...Time to get stoned now!

Well, humans are animals, so animals have created cars and such.

Anyways, I think it would be better if we were hunter-gatherers still, but we need to be realistic. There are ways we could be less horible to the world, like organic farming, reduction of fossil fuel usage, creating sustainable lifesyles, etc. Everyone needs to start smoking so they can come to this realization, haha.

And pot shall save the world! :D

Marijuana does that to most people. You begin to realize even further the disgusting amount of decadence and flatulence all around you, for no other purpose than to feed our completely moronic desires. The fact of the matter is, we don't need half of the shit we use. We could use hemp for paper, and oil, we could stop choping down trees at the rate at which we chop them down right now, which is totally fine when you don't see it, but once you've seen videos of it, you can't really just turn your back to it anymore.

I've found that pot makes me realize all the things I do. If my room is really filthy, I sort of over look it most of the time when I'm sober, but when I'm high I think to myself "how could I have left that filth all over the place?", or I realize how disgusting certain things are that I eat, which is why I don't eat junk food anymore. Have you ever gotten high and drank a Dew or a Pepsi or eaten some chocolate? It feels and tastes so nasty. I guess it's just me, though, because I know a lot of dirty potheads, who also eat a lot of sweets. I just can't eat that stuff anymore. Pot, like we established in that other thread, will really make you think analytically about things in your life. You look at a tree and realize that it's a beautiful part of our world, and shouldn't be mistreated to turn a profit, although you should realize that when you're sober. We really should only use what we need, and leave the rest of nature intact, but humans are much too selfish to do that. This is why I enjoy the Japanese culture. You can't chop down a tree in Japan without getting their nature department to come do it for you, and you can't step on or "deface" any nature at all, not even in the city without being arrested. Anal? Maybe, but I think it's admirable.

I'm basically a hippie who dresses much different than that of a typical hippie. The only problem is, no one likes a hippie in our society, so you have to deal with all kinds of shit if you're going to go that route. For some reason, people in our society hate people with an idea of "free love" and peace, and what I consider rational thinking. They get so pissed off when you criticise their decadent ways.

ive never really been into nature and stuff but i do enjoy it when im high. my friend always says hey look at the grass and when i look down i can see every blade of grass with this bright intensity that isnt ever there. its crazy when the wind blows and you see it moving across each area of grass and there is so many types of grass in one little section its so crazy. but other then that im more fo a homebody.

Yeah, the fact that you see every blade of grass corresponds with that psychosomatic level 5 and level 2 correspondance while on Marijuana. If you direct that to the right thing, you can do very great things while high. I do my most meticulous work when I'm high (not stoned), because I can focus on the smallest piece of equipment and the smallest task involving those smallest pieces of equipment. That's how I changed the potentiometers in my guitar from 250K ohms to 475K ohms without actually changing them out, simply using some precision screw drivers, copper and some Johnson wires.

When im sober, i love nature and stuff.. but when i get stoned.. i really feel like each organism has feelings.

and contrasting to musicman, when i get stoned, impretty messy like most people. i just find that bewing 'tidy' and stuff is irrelevant to my life and lifestyle. The natural order of thigns is to be messy, and thats how i let it be. in terms of personal appearance, im not a slob tho. im often unshaven when i should be, but overall i like to look respectable even if its in a t shirt and jeans. maybe its just for the girls :p

ps. why do you aim to give your pentometers higher resistance?

Well, how it affects you will also depend very much on how your mind functions before hand. I was always a fairly tidy person, but never to the degree I am when I get high. I am meticulous when I'm high. I clean the floorboards, scrub the walls, the hardwoods, you know... really get anal about it. If you're naturally a 'slob', then you're probably not going to change simply because you got high.

I tend to agree. I think it's because in nature there is a softness and a randomness, and I'm recreating that in my bedroom, with it's straight lines and hard surfaces...all the dirty laundry and piles of books and cds soften it up. At least that's what I tell my dad when he bitches. He never buys it, so I just shut my door, haha.

I hardly ever shave, I hate shaving. That's the reason I grew out my beard months ago. Even though I don't sport a full beard now, what parts of my face I do shave only get shaved once a week or so. With a beard trimmer, not a razor...razors irritate my skin. So I'm literally never close shaven. Tshirt and jeans, yeah, that's all I ever wear. I'm not a slob, just relaxed.

During the summer i love to walk out into nature with my guitar and play a tune with only the trees and flowers to hear my songs. Very peaceful, stoned or sober, but better stoned.
