Anyone else see previews for this? It's supposed to come on tonight after intervention. It's about Humboldt county Ca police going after an estimated 1k illegal marijuana growers in their city. During the previews they have mentioned how it has torn the county apart with robberies and other things, guess they don't realize they are fighting a fight they can't win this way. I just find the timing of this ironic with Wash. releasing news on their New federal medical marijuana policy.
why would you watch something about cops busting potheads? at least thats what you make it seem it's basically about. Just wondering....but i agree the timing is ironic.
Why watch anything in the news if you don't like it right, well it helps to know whats going on and their theories about how this is crippling the economy. Plus I like to know what the right wing conservative activist is saying or doing about marijuana, if you've never watched something like "America's Drug War" (btw if you haven't u should see this) or something, things like this interest me I guess. Ps, I don't like being busted but I like watching cops, and scariest police videos
oh i see, i was thinking of something like cops but targeting and busting weed smokers...now i get ya. wildest police videos are pretty entertaining i must say, cops is okay, but idk it just gets lame after so long

Well I watched it and they basically only made two good points. One was renters damaging property with indoor grows and ppl being robbed. Well if it was regulated that would solve majority of the problem, but instead they want to pay more taxes so the county can hire more cops lol. Also the bust was basically the same thing they do everywhere and here it was called the gator bust, anyways they just rounded up 6 figures in cash and arrested a bunch of ppl and confiscated tons of pot in a few days. It was amusing how they linked pit bulls everytime they mention drugdeal like it holds any importance, there was a cop look alike guy at the city council complaining about a "drug deal" for med. mj was going on right in front of him and he felt his life being threatened by it. Another couple complained about not being able to tend her tomatoes b/c the maryjane odor was too strong lmao. Forgot to add pot is the number 1 cash crop for this town
Well, it is the number one cash crop of Cali for sure, and statistics that include it always rank it within the top three of America.
I can tell you as a humboldt county resident(attending humboldt state) it really is pot city. When harvest time comes around the whole county smells like straight dank for atleast two weeks.
