where can i find some good patchouli oil.theres so many sites that have it i just dont know which one is the best.could you help a brother out?
hows its smell?i've heard that some are bitter almost.i dont want that i want i nice sweet yummy smell.well you know what im lookin for.
It smells great, slightly sweet. I use alot of natural patchouli products for my hair and skin and have found the oil long lasting from Gypsy Rose. It is strong though. Just a dab will do ya.
Look for the stuff that is "essential oil", not the stuff that is aroma therapy, body wash, perfume oil, or any of that crap. Good patchouli will be a dark amber color (about like Coca Cola.) The pure essential oil is less sweet smelling and more earthy. Many manufacturers will add other ingredients to "perfume" it up, but they can begin to drift away from the patchouli base. You may have to go trial-and-error until you find the one that suits you best. I would start with the pure essential oil and go from there. You should be able to find a huge variety on the internet, in small vials for around $3-$6.
