had laughing gas when i got my wisdom teeth pulled. Its the first thing iv ever taken that could be considered a psycedelic. That stuff is great, i barely cared about the operation at all. maybe i should explore other psychedelics. Anyone else had laughing gas?
Be careful when using nitrous oxide ... The rumor that it kills brain cells is true, but indirectly. It isn't the nitrous oxide that kills brain cells, it's the lack of oxygen that kills your brain cells when you inhale the direct nitrous (same effect as holding your breath for long amounts of time). Oxygen deprivation to the brain is NEVER a good thing. Now, I know very little about using nitrous oxide, but if there is some way you could inhale the nitrous and some oxygen at the same time, that's much better. Also, hyperventilate (breathe really fast) right before you inhale; that way, your blood is filled with oxygen beforehand. =) Take care.
plagerized irresponsibly from erowid to post on this thread: Regular nitrous oxide use can cause depletion of B12 in your body which can lead to numbness in fine nerve endings (fingers and toes). Supplementing with B12 can help protect against this. Never use masks that strap to the face or garbage bags which can block breathing. and eddies right i made a little mistake. its N2O
