Space my ears?

My buddy had pretty big gauges before, but after high school he needed a job so his dad paid to get them fixed and he had them sewn up. Funny thing is, he ended up finding a job were it doesn't matter so now he has them again.

 

My girlfriend has had her ears spaced for years and they rarely smell... If you take care of them they don't smell a lot.

I saw that pic. I might be down.

 

the bigger they are, the more they smell.

it's like a mathematical equation, there's no way to avoid it.

If you keep them clean they don't smell.... It only happens when you actually stretch them.

....You don't have spacers, I can tell.

They smell when you space them because your tearing the flesh... Once it heals the smell goes away. But once you space them more it comes back because you've teared more flesh.

I've had to listen to that stupid speech enough times from my friends.. I know how these damn things work lol.

 

i say... if you are looking for popular opinion on the subject.. then you are doing it for all the wrong reasons..

on that note.. 00g is the point of no return... after that you will have to get the scalped and sewn shut... also... sure you are 16 now... but you are not gonna get to 1" within a year.. or even 2 years probably.. after your initial piercing.. which you might as well just get pierced and then tapered to 00g right away(stay away from dermal punching because you need the skin to stretch)... also realize the amount of pain this is gonna inflict... first you will have a needle the size of a sucker stick shoved through your ear and then slowly they will shove taper after taper through your fresh wound until it is tapered to 00g(roughly the size of a sharpie).. then you have to let it heal.. 3-6mo.. then you can start stretching again.. one step at a time.. every 3mo or so.. or you will rip or blow out your ear...

i am at a 0 gauge and plan on going to 7/16ths.

 

Go for it but I wouldn't go too big... After a while it just looks lame to me.

I know there is a lot of pain, my girlfriend and a couple of my buddies have them. I can take pain higher amounts than pain than most people though I guess.

 

me too.. i had my ears pierced with a 10g needle.. i didn't even flinch.. but ramming a taper through a fresh wound? and stretching that wound? no thank you...

i've also tore my tongue twice while stretching.. i know all about the pain involved in mis-stretching... and i gauged up my labret.. which almost brought tears to my eyes.. talk about a sensitive stretch
