Tavaris nor Sage would have the vikings at 6-0 right now.. sorry... i was never a big favre fan either.. seeing as i bleed purp and gold... so its understandable.. but the bullshit that the packers pulled with him was just unrespectable.. and all the restrictions.. not allowed to get signed by the vikings when he left initially... it was all bullshit in the end.. sure his indecisiveness didn't help the ordeal.. but at the same time.. like i have said in the past.. no one shamed Jordan when he came out of retirement.. or when Gretzky/Lemuiex came out of retirement... athletes are always second guessing retirement.. why? because its their career.. how do you go living half of your life still knowing you cannot do what you once did to make pay
PS: i hope when he gets inducted into the hall of fame he wears purp and gold just to piss off the pack...
I surprised to read the patriots-titans game was the highest rated TV show throughout the country last sunday evening even though the game was a blowout Damn, hasn’t anyone ever seen snow before Hotwater
i wonder what the #s were for the monday night vikings/packers game.. they changed the time slot of next vikings/packer match up from noon game to a 3pm game
Vikings vs. Packers makes cable ratings history Minnesota vs. Green Bay game was the most-watched program in cable history. A mammoth 21.8 million viewers watched Brett Farve lead the Vikings against his former team, drawing a 9.0 rating among adults 18-49. Hotwater
ah yes... i can see why they would push it to a 3pm game.. gotta get them west coasters in on the action
Jared Allen is a fucking monster and its badass that he rocks 69. I think there's a big difference with Favre and anyone else coming out of retirement like Jordan or Gretzky. Jordan and Gretzky simply told everyone they wanted to come back and play. Favre retired, realized how much he missed being the center of attention, made a giant scene to get back in the spotlight, and then oh yea he had to play some football too. He had a pretty good time the first time through, so he did the exact same thing again the next year. I think that is pretty classless. He actually seems motivated to play this year, but thats because he has something to gain. I don't think he gives a fuck about anyone but himself, and that's why I hate him. I can assure you on that last second TD to beat the 49ers, he wasn't celebrating for the Vikings, he was celebrating for himself. I think he's a pretty despicable and selfish guy. The Packers did the right thing for their franchise by letting Favre go.
Jared Allen and the Williams boys are gonna destroy the steelers O-line.. and all the steelers do is pass.. so there are gonna be a lot of sack opportunities with jolly green giant taking those 5-7 step drops.. ben can't run lol
