Yayyy ^^ I've been veggie for 8 months ish, and from the start I cut out milk completely, apart from the milk in tins and cakes and things. I rarely had eggs... So you could say I was 60% vegan :)

But the other day I was like.. fuck this... I had an opiphany to just do it ^^ I had been procrastinating for that 8 months, waiting to find alternatives, and improving my cooking skills, and I was cooking vegan every day, I just had snacks that weren't vegan. So yea, a week and a half ago I was getting annoyed at people saying "oohh welll you argue the vegan points but you still have milk."

I ran downstairs, emptied my cupboard of all the things that had milk or eggs in- this was basically tinned veg curry, cup-a-soups, tomato soup and some packaged cous-cous. I gave them away to my housemates (students will swarm around free food :p) and now, for this week and a half, have been soley vegan!!

I'd like to thank all the people that helped me in the beginning, who said it was ok to go slowly :) Do forgive me but I can't remember your names!! I'm sure you remember my whiney confused self xD

It used to amaze me how many things had meat in, now it amazes me how many things have eggs or milk in!! My student union are struggling to find anything that I can eat!!

I'm vegan for alot of reasons :) health (I haven't got any intolerances, I just don't think we should be drinking milk past infancy), the animal cruelty (I don't like using that phrase xD Its more the state of the pens they are kept in and the abuse they get and the shit conditions and shit lives they have), and the concept of mass industrial farming for profit :) Basically xD

Ok. I went vegan 2 weeks ago. Last night I was thinking... What if milk is vaugely ok... Like, health wise. Maybe I should embrace it. I never had much dairy after I went veggie. I only had dairy or eggs when they were in chocolate, cakes or tins of things like soup or curry.

So, I was comfortable with how much dairy I consumed, I was comfortable knowing it wasn't as much as most people consume, and not as much as to feel I was taking advantage.

With my health at the moment, I get very tired very easily, and turning vegan has inteferred with my eating patterns, which have also been inteferred with by my sleeping patterns. Maybe turning back will help me get my energy levels back up when I need to eat- instead of spending time trying to find something to eat that is vegan.

Anyone got any thoughts? I know its what I want to do, I just need someone/people to tell me its ok forme to do that xD I feel so fickle! But that is who I am so meh :p It feels ok for me to do this, I just need approval!

than do it man..... do what agrees with your own morals man. honestly, if you were to keep the whole vegan thing going there are many ways to make it work. like to make sure you get enough of the vitamins and minerals. i actually felt the oposite of you when i went vegan... i have more energy and sleep better than i did when i wasnt vegan. but anyway all that matters is whether or not you want to.

I know when I eat vegan , especially raw vegan , wow!!!!! energy!!!!! theres a detox period always where youre more tired than normal, until your body catches up with your diet....its not food, its fuel, so decide which fuel works better for you!
