Every summer, I go diving off Long Beach Island in New Jersey.

Me and my friends get into our freediving gear (just a light air tank and mask, flippers, maybe a camera...) and we go watch the sharks.
Ususally, we only see sand tigers and blue sharks, becuase they live there, sometimes they even swim right up to the shore.

One time, back in 2000, when the water was still kind of cool, we were diving just off of the Barnegat Lighthouse. (If anyone knows where that is, it's in South Jersey and it has very rough waters that change in depth from four feet to almost 100 feet in just under half a mile...)
We saw this fin sticking up while we were on the boat, so we dove into the water, about 40 feet from where it was circling. We saw this White Shark. It was eating a Triggerfish and it had to be about 15-20 feet long. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. My friend Trixy tried to take a picture, but it began to swim away just as the flash went off.:(
