So, I can't get GPG to work on my computer, I know I should get a new one/fix this one so it will work, I don't have that kind of time right now though. I'm trying to use www.hushtools.com to send an encrypted email. So I typed the email in the "Email addresses to encrypt to:" Then I typed the message I wanted to send in the "Text to encrypt:" Then I put the PGP key I was given into the "To specify a PGP public key that is not secured on the Hush Key Server Network, paste it into the box below:" Then I clicked encrypt, and it turns my message I typed into a bunch of scrabbled gibberish. Now what? How the fuck do I actually send the email? I don't know why this shit always seems hard to me.
You mean like when it turns my message into a bunch of gibberish, copy and paste the gibberish and send it to him?
Yes, that jibberish is exactly what you send. You need to send your GPG key to him though in order for him to reply. It should be part of the email you send him, encrypted. I highly suggest you do this right and not give out GPG keys to the hushmail server >_> Then his email address is public to anyone who looks at the key, because thats part of the tags on that key. Your main problem is that you don't have time. If you don't have time to keep yourself out of jail, then you can waste it in there
^seriously... when i first saw this thread title i thought you should rename it to "arrest me, i have a paper trail a mile high!"
