i thought adderal was supposed to be like speed or something and supposed to make you wanna go do shit.a friend gave me 3 15MG adderall XR.says amphetamine salts on the capsules.so i waited and took 1 this morning to see what would happen.it knocked me the fuck out!!!.and i still want to go back to bed. is this normal for some people?if thats what it does to me im definately asking for a script this week.
everything i read about it said it was supposed to make you wanna get up and do shit.but it knocked me the fuck out!!im gonna try another one in a little while and see what happens.but me and my doctor have found that alot of the "mental" medications work the opposite on me.so if im gonna get the opposite effect from this,I WANT IT!!
nope.only thing im on is kpins and xanax.havent taken either one all day.the adderall i just took is starting to make me tired already.
Kpins+xanax will put you to sleep, period, they will make yer ass tired. Adderall, in no way should be making you tired, it's a stimulant, it speeds shit up.
stimulant medications are designed for people with attention problems to help them "chill out and focus", as weird and backwards as that sounds. it's not uncommon for adderall and dexedrine to make people with ADHD tired. there might be a chance you have the brain chemistry that would qualify you with this?
yeah to be honest that's the only thing i can think of. i do know for a fact that people with adhd tend to feel more calm when taking amphetamine, and i'm 99% sure that i've heard of people getting drowsy as well.
Yea even though 15mg of XR is a low dose, it should still be enough to have your ass awake and attentive.
i do feel a little calmer but easily aggitated.i have one left.what would happen if i took a couple kpins with it?if i get the desired result,FUCKIN SLEEP!! im gonna ask my doc for a script of them.and he will most likely give it to me
yup.he even encourages me to try other peoples meds and see if i like them or not.if they work he writes me a script.even suggeted that i try smokin weed
Not true & not true. It is normal if you have ADHD, or even if you have ADD. I have ADD and take dexedrine now, but whether I feel awake & energized or really tired and calm on my drugs changes from day to day. Sometimes I'm cheerful and running around doing things, sometimes I'm stuck on my ass writing or drawing all day. Or I'll take my morning dose & fall back asleep until the next one. It changes. You can't predict whether you'll be up or down with AD/HD, so you can't predict how the drug will affect you. If you have ADHD you probably want to be able to calm down. With ADD, you're off daydreaming all the time and need to be brought back to earth & jolted out of your imagination. Even two people who have the same disorder will be affected in different ways by the medications. Some people fall asleep on ritalin, or feel cracked out on adderall, and some people are the opposite. And amphetamines don't "fuck shit up". Maybe when they're dirty. But when it's clean pharmaceutical stuff it's pretty safe. There are effects on your heart and blood pressure to be aware of, and if you take too much obviously you'll use up all your happy chemicals and crash, plus not sleeping or eating or taking care of yourself is bad for you. You can experience withdrawal. And there are psychological effects. But as far as pharmaceuticals go, amphetamines are pretty damn safe. And there are a lot of people who really need them and would feel hopeless without them, so it's irresponsible to say that they'll fuck up your body. They won't, if you use them correctly and are aware of how your own body works. For example, I naturally have extremely low blood pressure and a very healthy heart so amphetamines are actually beneficial for me. Even if you abuse them, if you're educated and don't neglect to take care of yourself you should be safe. Sorry this is so long.
Oh and XRs usually make me really tired, while IRs usually make me either energized or just normal. Except for when they don't. You have to take something regularly for a while to figure out how it affects you on average.
