Walking Barefoot in the Fall

Going barefoot is fun in the Fall, that's true;
Though ground temperatures start hitting their lows (ker-choo!)
Now, it's never too hot and never too cool;
Just right for bare feet from getting the blues!

Walking through leaves, though, can be quite a hastle
'Cause you're never quite sure if walking on grass'll
Reveal some sharp acorn or broken-off thistle---
Fuck it; going barefoot in Fall makes me mad as a pistol.

 

I took my little sister out an evening last week to a soccer field. We both went barefoot. The ground was sooooo colddd. Like I was walking on ice or something!

 

The UK is enjoying a mild start to the winter, so the feet are still bare.
