Also I've been in a death metal mood lately. It's pretty random. Impaled - The Dead Shall Dead Remain, Acid Witch - Witchtanic Hellucinations, Gorgasm - Masticate to Dominate..etc...etc

Also the demo version of Dissection's "Where Dead Angels Lie" is so fucking dank.

 

I love the Prog/Sludge Metal sound that bands like Mastodon, Baroness, Kylesa are pioneering.

 

This is going to sound a little crap, but I have been listening to the new Inme album 'Herald Moth'. It's really got some good metal riffs on their and shouldn't be over-looked because of some of their early stuff.

Any Americans familiar with them come to think of it?

i didn't like thier new "melodic" album that much originally, but now i'm diggin it.

 

I would say Remission and Blood Mountain are equally good for different reasons.

 

Yeah, they're pretty great. I heard "Oblivion" for the first time, not too long ago, on a road trip and it blew me away.

 

Heh, someone actually knows it Yeah it's that song! The Sneaker Pimps rock, although I will recommend IAMX, the guys new band if you dig them. IAMX are probably the most underrated band in the world right now.

 

Recently I've been listening to a lot of Necrophagist and Suffocation.

 

After years of "hating" any type of metal... I'm becoming obsessed with Metallica and Iron Maiden. I can't believe I'd been missing out on these absolutely sick bands for years! I feel like a moron.

Haha I never said I was doing anything special. I was just saying that I feel like a moron for never having given them a chance in the first place. And I'm glad I finally did, because they're awesome.

Country by far has very good singers you cant deny it......

I never hated on country never understood why people do except for the pro bush type of country singers but guys like grath brookes , toby keith and kenny chesney are good singer and song writers....

 

I've been digging some Queensryche lately, Operation: Mindcrime bored me but Empire is good.
