What is the gateway drug

my thoughts exactly, the reason I think weed is and not alcohol is b/c of the social standard first of all and the fact that its scheduled as an illegal narcotic along with much harder drugs when cig's and alcohol are in fact worse.

oops i need to amend that....i just asked my guru and he said no not really..it is a gateway drug..but not THE gateway drug....

 

depends, and whats gateway anyway? weed is not addictive per se, its a powerful mind addiction but you dont have withdrawals like those i never went through because they are scary, like heroin... my main point would be that other drugs are so much different from pot, that each to its own is its own gateway drug, comparing the high is just irrelevant, most drugs are a category of their own. then the addiction forming drugs, if you want to call them gateway, who says you will try them after you do pot or drink or try cigarettes? and maybe you dont even want to because your friend went through it and if youre not dumb, you dont want to loose yourself and become addicted anyway.

 

D.A.R.E is the gateway drug. They instill in all these little childrens minds that weed, alcohol, coke, crack, meth, heroin and etc are completely awful for them, saying that weed is where it starts from. It starts from their lies, they should have left weed out of the picture. Cause once little Johnny tries weed and realizes its not that bad, he's gonna say, "Hey, if weed isnt bad, then crack mustn't be bad either" Or w/e drug they choose.

 

tobacco and alcohol cuz everyone starts there first......well unless you wanna take it down to sugar or something but thats just silly

 

I know a good drug, when I feel one.
