I'm going to start posting stuff. these two poems are a few years old and not great but I plan to write more often and post some stuff...

dreaming,
dreaming of a time
when everything felt right
the sun was brighter
than it was today

wondering,
wondering if there's more out there
or if it's just misconception to blame
for everyone trying
so fucking hard

clearing,
clearing my mind of this
uneasy malaise
that comes and goes through
clouds of smoke

hoping,
hoping life is as sweet
as it's been
in my dreams

or compaire ur self to others
you are who you are
you make ur own mark.
you leave ur own trial
you walk your own path.
dont trial yourself. Your are who you are.
take it as is.

 

that line stood out to me...its a strong line imo. even tho its only two words.

I like this twist at the end. Keep them coming.

 

I like your words. I find I enjoy poetry better when it's like hearing someone's thoughts as they are thinking them.

I like this, I mean aside from the twist in words with the last line it's good when a poem gets through a whole emotion in just 5 lines.

 

longing for a home
that no longer exists
those great friends
you never reallly had
a heart attack
sounds more appealing
than anything else I can think of
