Swim is going to the Crystal Castles/Boys Noize/Chromeo concert tonight and has 1.7g of shrooms. How fun do you think this experience will be for him? He's never taken shrooms at a concert before, but has 3-4 times before and had no problems at all. If possible i'm looking for a response by tonight. and ill be back with a report of how it went :hat: :cheers2:
there's no need to swim around here, we're on free speech land anyway my friend took 1.5 grams of mushrooms at an animal collective show and had an amazing time. i think high doses wouldn't be great but a low dose mushroom trip might be perfect for a concert. if you're comfortable with who you're going with/the music/being around crowds, go for it. enjoy!
cool thanks for the responses. I had 2gs in my friends basement and got locked in a window well outside in a blizzard with his parents home so i think i can be comfortable in most situations now lol. Was just curious to the effects of a lot of people and crazy techno
Tripping in public can be intense. I ate 5 hits of acid once at a concert and I got stuck at the entrance for 10 minutes because I could not figure out how to go inside the building. Everything was looking like a maze, lucky I had friends to lead the way for me.
I did because i met some girls on the bus that had a few. The trip was a little held back because of the cold chicago weather and the huge crowd at congress theater. There was also this girl that was "watching" me because i didn't know how my trip would unfold but i told her i would be fine, so once i got away from her and my "friends" (i came by myself but met up with some old friends from HS) to let the music take me i had a blast. Alice Glass from Crystal Castles was on top of my face crowdserfing and boys noize's bass put me in another world. The coolest things that happened were, 1) My brain no longer feels "empty", from smoking so much pot, like it did before my trip, I'm really happy about this fact. 2) A marble counter started morphing and swirling like wind was blowing the patterns. 3) The enormous green walls at the venue showed huge "OBEY" like faces that were mouthing to the beat for a little 4) I squinted my eyes in the crowd and thought i had a good 10 ft in front of me, when i went back to open them and move everyone appeared back around me in an instant. 5) some fractal pasterns on peoples faces and everything in KFC turned "soft" with no definite edges to them. 6) and hundreds of waving hands/moving fingers when i closed my eyes along with some "vortex" closed eyes. Great fucking time
Yea, every time I've went to a show on shrooms, it has been between 1g and 1.5g. I agree, anything more then two would be pretty insane in public, or atleast for me it would. I love grooving to live music with that 'buzz'.
yeah, its a really weird experience doing it at a "rave" scene like that. I wasn't tripping that hard but i couldn't stop myself from moving even when i thought about it. with anymore than like 2gs i would want to sit down and just watch to become enlightened :hat:
I've been to a few metal shows on low 1.5g doses, the best is I saw my fav band, (between the buried and me ) do my fav album (colors) live start to finish. The music was so powerful, have yet to go to a rave though ( and would like too).
Why do Americans say a group of musicians 'is' playing somewhere when it should clearly be 'are'? Not a stab at you, just something I've noticed and am confused by.
Probably because it is a singular band but if thought of in the sense of having multiple entities in that band it would then be are. The former comes to mind first in my case. :cheers2:
