passed my uk driving test...

i am so happy that i wanted to share with you all! 2nd time lucky for me as i failed the first time but fuck it i passed my driving test...
i am happy.

how anyeone else got a driving licence or stories about there test?

I did most of my test with the main beam on but the examiner didn't notice me flick it off so I got away with it. I had a group of kids on scooters play chicken with me as well...I won! I only passed a couple of months ago...still get a little rush when I drive

 

dude that was the most exciting thng i heard all day

 

now all i need is got get an old school vw 'bus' and my dreams will be that much closer to becoming true!!

congrats to you....what are the rules for gettin a licence in the uk...what age and how long till you can drive alone....at night etc

here in ontario you must go through a series of tests both written and road...then at the end you must do a highway test....takes nearly 2 years


fingermouse-i really enjoyed your story,especially the part near the end when you dont drive...thank you for sharing such a heartfelt story...it must be hard to tell it without tears....

 

you have to 17 or over to get a provisional licence which is required so you can do the lessons and take the test, and you have to do a theory test as well and hazard perception test but you do both of them in 1 day and it's fairly simple questions.

and you can't take the test unless you pass your theory test, the test is fairly simple but it's the little mistakes that make you fail

Thanks Have you got yourself a set of wheels yet? I've managed to blow mine up already! I was having a new sump fitted that night as well, it blew up on the motorway due to a lack of oil. I was advised not to put any oil in it until the new sump was fitted...grrr. Saying that though it probaly wasn't the best idea to be flying past mercedes and beamers in a little clio with not much oil in it...eughk!

 

oh dear...

not i have not got a car yet...i can't afford one now , once i get my new job then i'll probly get a decent hand one within 2 months or so
