    im not a huge fan of them either, they have like one song where 15 seconds it sounds cool.

    i agree on the harder better faster stronger comment, but other than that i really like daft punk

    because without daft punk house music would still just be in Europe and in Chicago night clubs

    They aren't the best but I do like some of there stuff, its just fun and upbeat. Vietnam made for a great Shroom trip. Listen to that song.

    Sorry but Daft Punk didn't put house music on the map especially in Chicago..lol. They had no influence in making house music more common either.

    Go check out Frankie Knuckles, Derrik Carter, Paul Johnson and some others. That's where Chicago House music comes from and try mid 80's. I think DP wasn't around then.

    all of their songs are large chunk samples of other songs



    homework, discovery, the live albums are all really fun to listen to, and good production



    but they still ruined dance music. by making it mainstream.


    daft punk is 100 percent dance music, you crackhead.
