I saw it on demand a month ago but never watched it. The description promised gratuitous nudity and violence centered around the occult. Therefore it is my kind of movie. But, I never got a chance to watch it. How was it?
I saw it and apart from the opening sequence that contained a very nice, up close penetration shot.. it was a weird ass, artsy fartsy film. I'll just say.. when the female lead cut her clitoris off, my vulva retracted and I ceased to pay further attention to this film. I love gore.. but this was way to over the top for its genre.
Yes he is. It shows very graphically Dafoe getting his balls smashed (yep it shows it) and then it shows him ejaculate blood...... Why do so many horror movie have to mutilate the male genitalia?
Anyone who has not seen this movie, I STRONGLY recommend you do so, as soon as possible. My production company just finished shooting a horror movie influenced by Anti-Christ. This movie is the finest horror movie I have ever seen, and believe me, I have seen plenty of them. This is the kind of horror movie that has you questioning your role in relationships. Completely devoid of giant sub-human creatures, which I personally believe is the problem with most horror movies these days. Watch Anti-Christ. Watch it in the dark with whoever you love. It's a beautifully tragic movie.
