So I feel like the right side of my head doesn't have enough dreads. It looks like it needs more as it has two fattihs taking up tons of hair. I've had em for awhile, and they are pretty well locked. How would you recommend I make a few more dreads? Any ideas?

I don't know if I could split them fattsos without takin a razor or somethin to em, but I really don't wanna cut anything. They were backcombed to start, so they are pretty well wanting to stay where they are. Maybe I could just mess the crap out of that side and leave it to do its own thing. I don't know... one of those dread days.

Drink vodka and rip? Apart from that just wait for time to create more dreadlocks with loose hair

I have the same problem with the back of my head.
I have like, four dreads in the entire area and it freaks me out a bit.

But I didn't make a thread on it because the typical response for dread-related advice is 'time', and that just wouldn't work.

Yeah, time would just make em harder to take out if I didn't mess em like mad. Vodka is good advice, good advice...:D

yeah i'd say flop some over to that side and wear a hat and train your dreads to fall that way, or comb out and re-do them smaller.

or you can embrace the fatties

i think i might have the same problem when my dreadlets congo. i had a weird hairstyle before i stopped combing my hair. also my hair in the back seems to drift to the left naturally.
did you have a weird hairstyle before dreadlocks?
does your hair on the back of your head also drift to the left?

I kinda had that cause I used to have a sideswept fringe before I locked... I ended up combining some locks to make em fatter on the other side to even it out.

get a job at a hair dresser.
Secretely steal customers hair and tuck it into your socks.
Then at a hidden location attach the hair to your head.

One side of my head has shorter dreads than the other and it is really noticeable now. My husband reassured me that is looks fine because dreads aren't suppose to look any way, they look their own way. Still bothers me though.
