this morning i was reading the news (of course the usual horrible things involving as usual the awful mr berlusconi, that this week openly admitted a couple of criminal offenses about a case of blackmailing and receiving of things coming from a crime, so, naturally, shamelessly, in his style. yes i know i may look obsessed by that jerk. that's not correct. open a random newspaper here and go look if he and his misdeeds don't take the first seven pages with another extra in the sports section because he's the owner of SC Milan. there is no escape unless one stops reading news) and i stumbled upon this site

    http://www.camminandoscalzi.it/wordpress/

where 'camminando scalzi' means 'walking barefoot'. a barefooting site who deals with politics ? not really. the owners explain that the choice of the name is meant to express freedom; freedom of thought, freedom of speech , fredom of information. freedom as when walking barefoot as they point out. sweet. and they also quote walking barefoot of the Ash. Rather surprising to observe that barefooting is probably more popular in thinking , in fantasy, than in real life. maybe because thoughts won't get you dirty. most times, at least :p .

Yes interesting how it is a symbol for freedom of spirit. I think is a ideal for some i.e. outside of the usual social pressures to conform.
