Thats wierd all my friends that have tried it said theres no hallucinations for them. just a really "wierd" feeling?? I think im actually comfortable with the psychedelics i take now. i dont want to harm my body too much
pure salvinorin A is known to be active at around 200 micrograms and i believe it's the most potent naturally occuring hallucinogen, being only very slightly less potent than the synthetic LSD-25. but it does seem very hard to find effective salvia as neodude said. i just wasted $40 on a VERY disappointing salvia tincture... edit: oh didn't see that neodude beat me to the "most potent natural hallucinogens" bit it's true.

Yeah thats what makes salvia so amazing it makes everything not make any sense. Its so amazing to feel that fucked up and not know anything about the idea of reality. Omg i want to do it again so bad. Its def not for pussies. You get an amazing adrenaline rush.
I've never had DMT ever, but I can vouch that Salvia is pretty damn crazy. Crazy in the sense that it illuminates how crazy you are right now, and how crazy this moment it. You sound like you already know, but for those reading, salvinorin A (the main active ingredient in salvia that makes you trip) is a k-opioid receptor agonist. K-opiod receptors are in pain neurons, and their agonists (drugs that are able to bind to these receptors, like salvinorin A) are dysphoric. So I mean, that right there automatically separates the salvia experience from what is commonly perceived as a classic psychedelic state. As a k-opiod agonist, you'll understand why salvia has a very low potential for addiction lol. Anyways, because it's mode of action is so different from other psychedelics, and it's the only known naturally occurring chemical in the world to produce a psychedelic state through the k-opiod receptor, you can see how it doesn't really fit in anywhere, and that's what makes the experience so unique, intense, and powerful.
Actually right after i trip i feel super euphoric, like an opiate. Thats one of the best things about the whole experience.
yeah, when stuff stops fucking with your k-opioid receptors, it usually does feel pretty euphoric, lol
