grow outside year round with auto-flowering?

Was wondering i live in florida it is hot year round seriously it's almost mid November and it's still in the 80's everyday, could I start a crop using a auto-flowering plant, I can'ts see why not there is no frost were I reside and when I did my research it stated plant would flower auto matically about 2 weeks after sprouting? can anyone help me with this question?:cheers2::toetap05:

 

Imo, just use regular genetics. most strains can start off and do well from 12/12 straight off the bat, and with the florida sun it'd be hard to fail.

Plants that are actually given time to veg down here get wayyyy too big and florida cops love busting people with plants.

I'm pretty sure autoflowers just start flowering as soon as their mature enough, could be 2 weeks; or it could be 2 months.

Another question? You stated that plants get too big in Fla but what about plants that are Indica Dom. that don't get that tall or are not supposed to get that tall will they maintain there proper height under this florida sun and if what your saying is true does that mean it's possible to grw outdoor in florida year round? Is this just your opinon or have you had experience in the matter

 

don't forget hurricanes and all the rain too you don't wanna drown your plant.

 

I've only grown a hybrid out here, 50/50. Idk about an indica dominant strain it probably gets too hot for em to like it down here. you can grow down here year long, just gotta make sure the trees don't get too big by topping, and if you have a plant flowering it'll reveg in spring; you could fix this by dropping a garbage bag over the plant a few hours before the sun goes down though. It probably would be easier to just go with autoflowering strains. imo if you're gonna take the risk of growing, just do it indoors, specially in florida; our laws are rediculous.

If height is an issues, get some nice low Ryder's? Some of them grow to about 4 ft..

EP; using LST (low stress training) from the start only the limbs will rise above the ground level 1-2ft. but wherever you might begin LST remember that the limbs will grow 1-2ft. higher than stem. There are many good descriptions of this process here. Basically bend the top (most resilliant) part of stem at right angle to the verticle part of stem. At the extreme with the use of tent stakes or bent heavy wire it's conceivable to run the stem about 2" above the ground for the entire grow, each time stem grows a bit stake it out again, this will make the height of the mature plant about 2' tall and look like a short hedge, ei, 10-20' long instead of the same tall.

 

I used to grow hundreds in new england. I did a autoflower grow' and i gave up the auto flower out of it . I was useing a strain called Hogger.I just didn't like the aitoflower back 5-9 yrs ago.but i'll tell yathe hogger without the auto flower grown outdoors was crazy good.ive moved downsouth and its scary down here.cops are not vary freindly to growers. I came from an area that had the youngest police cheif. A kid! he would leave a "Go Dare" hat at your patch that he legally had to take because someone complained.then people got greedy' They had beatings over stolen pot bla bla bla.But down here the cops are the scary ones.they give you time in jail.if i ever grow again it ain't gonna be down here. this was my first year i missed.theres probally a cop on here thinkin they did their job ,maybe, maybe not.ya just made it more dangerous for the people who will do it. all I see.I do miss walkin into my final walk in of the yr. cause I would forrce flowering rite before i put in ground in early to mid june. augest I would do 1 more walk in to make sure no males or maphodites made it' By oct.10- 20th maybe wow, you could smell the shit 100yrds away. I had an old resevore that the dam was blown up yrs ago. the soil was full of worms.water or moisture all time needed100 plants would bring 80 lbs.of giant bud. miss it . 1 other dude grow like 200 yrds away on other side of feild. I don't think he know I was there. He had like 20 15 footers by oct.last i did talk to him he had only 3 of 10 200plant plots left. taken by cops or theft.some one broke into his house tyed his ass up robbed him , he calls cops to report bein robbed (they stole his pot! cops came kid didnt relize they hadn't stolen pot from yard. Guess who got arrested? so when you do this you can't tell your own mother if you wanna be safe any more. i did a grow in a house in vermont that was like 100 plants in 2 rooms with 8 1000w att lites i was scared every nite. But me and my girl had pot all yr for our heads.its scary shit now. so watch who you speek to.
