I have insomnia, and being VERY tolerant to benzo's and opiates alike,i decided to upload a picture of what it takes to get a person of extreme opiate/benzo tolerance to sleep for a good 14 hours. (i urge fellow insomniacs to post there stories here!) in order. 1.3x 5mgs Nitrazepam. 2.3x 10mgs Endone (fast relief oxycodene). 3.2x 30mgs Oxazepam. 4.2x 10 mgs oxycontin (slow release) 5.3x 25 mgs endep 6.(and just to prove i have it) 160mg slow release Oxycontin And yeah, that, that will do two things.Make you FLYYYY and make u sleeeeeppp.
you guys are all trying things that make you high to get you to sleep. things that get you to sleep without getting you high work MUCH better, since you know, youre not high and so not tempted to enjoy it.
Try Valerain -its a herb you can buy in pill form from pharmacys. Also try getting more exercise during the day. Personaly I find all psychoactives keep me awake, even alcohol, cannabis and morphine keep me lying awake in bed long after my bed time.
@ Ghost of rat,Been there done that, after being on things as heavy as whats shown above, herbs just aint doin it for me.. @Mr.Writer,I live in australia,im not sure that benadryl is available here in pill form.
yeah if your problem is chronic best to not go with something that may become habitual. Only reason I mention kratom is because it is alot less harmful than any opiod/benzo combo, the addiction potential is much less, its cheaper, and coming from someone who used to pop benadryl like candy for sleep problems and they did nothing, kratom really has been the only thing that has allowed me to get a good night's sleep. Plus you have to take it a few hours before bed and enjoy the high anyways, the sedative effects really only kick in strong after the euphoria is almost gone.
with my sleep problems, i could take enough benadryl to make me see fucking zombies and i STILL couldn't sleep...and as soon as i'd get to sleep, i'd wake up feeling like shit. [anywhere from 2-12 25mg pills]...though i do take antihistamines [currently zyrtec] for allergies every day, so that could cause some variety of cross tolerances.
I have never tried it but i don't see how people can do that. I take just one or two and i am out of it in less than thirty minutes.
OP, are you happy with the fact that your a slave to these pharmaceutical companys? Do you have scripts for those medications?
I had a friend that used to suffer from insomnia and he said ultra-low doses of DXM helped him for a while. He said it only helped briefly as tolerance built quite quickly though.
I think he meant to say "Michael Jackson", a reference to the fact that MJ had himself anesthetized every night.
