That sounds funny coming from a 19yr old,,haha,, I'm freegin' FIFTY nine and still trying to reclaim my lost opportunities,,haha It jus' slips up on ya,,one day at a time,,
have fun working at macdonalds! nah im just kidding, theres tons of ways to make good money without education without any real education background for example, my friend martin is involved in the drilling industry, because he's contracted he earns a much higher wage than normal, he goes away for about 6 weeks at a time and earns $40 an hour then he comes back home for a week and goes back out there's work out there my friend, you just have to find it
If you're scared you won't make it then you're scared to try, and trying is just another way of saying you're going to fail at everything. Don't try, just do it. Work harder, hit the books, stop slacking off, and actually do the work. If you want to be a success in life you have to be a go getter, you have to want it, and if you keep failing then all that says is that you don't really want success.
dont trip--they sent you to a foreign country---teach you in a different language--that would fuck up anyones grades----study your french then you can blast these fucks by saying --at least i know 2 languages
I think about this everydayyy but its pretty impossible... What pisses me off though is that now i go to a school with only kids that failed classes go to and the school is too full and theirs a list of people before me so i only start in decembre..the lady on the phone actually told me "We dont know when you start, we really cant tell right now, but well call you a week before it starts, but by looks of things its sure it isnt before december i havent been to school in almost 5 months, i can feel myself getting forgetting how to write and speak french:toetap05:
It's that kind of attitude that causes people to fail. Not to make this about me, but I want to be a professional screenwriter, entrepreneur, & actor among a lot of other things. Do I sometimes wonder if I can achieve it? Yes. Does that stop me from working hard to reach those goals? No. Any goal can be reached if you focus on it. I don't believe you're a stupid guy because you failed a grade; it happens. But, you have to just get back up on the horse, work harder, and you'll be a success. Chances are the guy who works harder than the average joe is going to succeed.
Well, your posts are so far easier to decipher than those of a lot of people your age and up... if that makes you feel any better.
the weed definitely did not help class... thats just your pothead thinking. been there done that. stay sober and take interest because you know your fucked if you dont.
I haven't read the whole thread, but I agree with those who've said your parents should REALLY be getting you some help. It's not only the right thing to do, it's their responsibility AND it's the law. Talk to your school counselor about getting you a tutor for your various subjects. You're obviously concerned about this or you wouldn't have come here to confess it. That's a good sign of maturity right there. Also, yes...stay off the weed, drugs, booze or whatever else you've been doing, because that is partly to blame for your lack of progress. Get clean, put your nose to the grind stone, and ask those who can help you to do so. Good Luck!!
How do you deal with sitting there and not learning? LEARN SOMETHING, teach yourself something, ANYthing!
Well I do understand your pain because french is indeed a hard language to learn. I was born here in Montreal so I started learning it since I was young, really young. If you can't handle it, try going to a english school. Still though, try french. My ex girlfriend used to live in the states before and she came here 2 years ago. She learned how to talk french pretty well. She isn't amazing but not bad either.
