I eat Burger King somewhat regularly, which I know is catastrophic for anyone's health, but I'm asking if my food choices go any way to soften that blow. Firstly I am not overweight. I weigh 9 stone 13, and my body is very healthy. I do though have a problem with low blood pressure.
I can only manage a small kid's meal, so I usually get a kid's small cheeseburger, small fries, 4 chicken strips (not nuggets) and a fruit juice. Oh, and a yoghurt. And I can only just manage to eat these small servings before filling up (usually with left-over fries and a bit of uneaten burger).
I've started to worry after watching Super size Me just now, but I noticed a lot of the problems are in those extra large portions that I've never seen outside of America.
I've read the nutritional information. A kid's cheeseburger is 317 calories with 5 grams of saturated fat, and a small fries is 200 calories with 4g of saturated fat. I couldn't find the exact chicken strips but a similar Burger King product yields 95 calories and trace saturated fat for 3 strips of chicken. Am I OK with eating this sort of amount and not worrying about my health is my question? My guess is it should be fine because I eat to my own limits and those limits are small. But I want some opinions anyway just to put my mind as ease (or not) after watching Super Size Me. :)

Fast food in itself is no more unhealthy then the particular piece of food you're eating is. Eating a bag of skittles is just as bad. Super Size Me isn't really a fair documentary though. One, who the heck eats McDonalds 3 times a day for a month straight? Also entire meals, most of the time I go to McDonalds I get like a Mcchicken and french fries, not 4lbs of food.

But yes, everywhere in America, everywhere, serving sizes are gigantic and food is dirt cheap.
