Yep. I did. Opiates can ruin your life. And will. First it starts off smoking weed, then taking pills every weekend.. then taking pills every other day, before you know it your taking them everyday. Spending all your money, stealing from people, and selling your shit. It can get crazy. suboxone kicks opiates ass with a giant iron boot. It gets you higher than any pain pill possibly could and you can take it daily LEGALLY!

 

I do believe he did. Shame. I wish there was a thread specifically for people who presented the D.A.R.E. speeches in these forums. I mean its cool if we are encouraging someone who is looking for support when quiting. But don't give us that "drugs are bad and you shouldn't do them" BS. I know they are trying to be helpful but if we wanna do opies let us do them, dont try to convince us otherwise.

First of all, not everybody resorts to selling their body and shooting heroin into their neck because of an occasional opiate habit.
The reason Subs are the best for getting off opiates is the LACK of high that opiates produce. It gets rid of sickness, and makes you feel normal...it doesn't get you "high." Some people swear they get fucked up on it, but these people are few are far between, and they are extremely opiate naive.

I don't come into your forum spouting bullshit about how you are going to ruin your life because you live in a fairyland half your life fucked off of psychedelics, so get the hell out of this forum and keep your opinion (notice I said opinion, because you have not stated ONE fact yet) away from us.

Also, I find it funny that you claim to be a huge pothead, and you just admitted that a severe opiate addiction starts off by smoking a little weed.

And before anyone says anything, I don't believe pot leads to opiate use, like this guy. I personally HATE marijuana.

Also, what do you have to say about people like ME on opiates? I get my opiates legitly, through pain management, because I have an extremely fucked up neck and back. Regardless, legality has nothing to do with it...you break the law to get your weed. If you had to quit weed, how would you react to life then?

 

shit i hate when that happens. i had a piece left yesterday and i ate it. today i got more because my source came through and i had to break off some for a friend. i only have enough for one session but if i had saved the stuff from yesterday id have enough for two. i was like...damn!

 

Preach it brotha!! lol Couple of my friends are on subs and they told me you will get the high for approximatley 2-3 days of taking them but after that you get absolutely no high. They should make a forum for those D.A.R.E. ppl out there so they don't have to stand on their soap box in ours.

 

Whoever said I was talking about people who have to take it for real pain you ignorant ass. I'll only say this once. Read the first post. This guy is obviously talking about abusing pain pills. 2, I take Suboxone. I know what the fuck it does. It fill the receptors in your head with opiate blockers and it DOES get you high. MD even told me that. Go do a little research before you keep sounding stupid. Weed is the only thing you CAN do on suboxone because nobody knows what will happen if you mix it with anything else.

They are wrong. I still get high from my suboxone. You got to know how to take it. Take it exactly right everytime and you'll get the same high no matter how high your tolerance. :] Most people don't know how to take subs anyways. So it don't surprise me. I have to practically teach everyone I know how to take it cause they complain and what not about not getting high anymore. Ha.
