it's really nothing revolutionary, and none of your typical franchise games will ever utilize the technology, so it's really not that big of a deal.

 

I'm not really sure about that.. They said that about the cell phone. But everyone has one now. Technology is getting better by the minute. HTML5, 3-D tv, USB 3.0, all of these will be coming out in the next few years.

 

Nintendo already stated that they looked at this type of technology when they were formulating a design for Wii, yet passed it up for a more simple (and affordable) motion control console.
The fact is, this type of technology already existed last era, and was passed up once. I'm sure when Microsoft and Sony jump on the motion-control bandwagon, it will be with once again with overpriced consoles, and questionable third party support.
I also doubt that this type of control scheme will be revolutionizing gaming any more than it already has. There are many "hardcore" gamers who actually dislike motion controls (I'm one of them) and they are a group that will always be marketed to, because there is money to be made. While motion controls are definitely going to be more prevalent in the future, classic controls aren't going anywhere.

Hahaha. I've definately a pro hardcore gamer. But I mean, I don't go around calling myself pro and bragging about it. Check the leaderboards on GH. any of them. Check the boards for GW PvP. HippiexChild. I was even once asked to sponser on GW. Not to mention I use to be with CAL for CoD. To bad it don't exist anymore.. :[
