Your Favorite Part of the High

Hello all. Just wanted to start a quick thread for us to all talk about how much we love the little lovely plant with which we spend so much time.

What's your favorite part of getting high? It is the company? The uplift of that first toke? The deep clean sleep? Hopping in the shower? Eating chocolate, junk food, or fruit? The culture? Sunshine? Movies? Conversation? Internet?

What is the best part of smoking weed, for you? Either your favorite activity, your favorite part of the high, or both!

My favorite part is that wonderful feeling of getting ready to smoke and sparking the first light, and that first hit. Heavenly.

My favorite activity... stoning and philosophizing with close friends who don't care when your logic fucks up!

 

My favorite activity is having deep meaningful conversations when you're high, there is just nothing like the marvelous gift of human communication. Also walking outside on a nice warm morning super ripped is a delightful experience.

Favorite part is the actual high and how it seems to ALWAYS turn my day around no matter how shitty it was before. Things just feel as if they can't possibly go wrong, and I enjoy that, however false it may be haha

 

i guess it's a two-way tie. I love the process of smoking a bowl, tasting each hit and holding it in. When I hold it for awhile and slowly exhale, I feel my heart slow down and my body relax, which is real nice. :sifone:

I also love nature and art when I am high, whether it's hiking in the mountains, relaxing on the beach, or playing/listening to music, watching movies, going to a museum or the zoo.

 

i love everything about weed. the culture, the sleep, the munchies, the high, the comedown.


my favorite part of the high is when it's first coming on, and you know you're about to get really baked.

 

I also love that one moment before you get really high and you think to yourself: Fuck.. I'm gonna be high.
My favorite part is the actual smoking though. Bud tastes good and just that first hit relaxes me.

The best thing to do high is just talk to people or to go out and walk around while listening to music. Feels good, IMO.

I can't complain about the sleep bud brings either

 

I love listening to music or playing guitar while high.

Or reading about history.

Everything is my favorite thing to do when I'm high. Talking is one of my favorites too, listening to friend's tell stories and having great conversation around a fire in the mountains on a fall night. Perfection. Jamming and listening to music is great. Sex is amazing. Being outside, like playing frisbee or looking at the clouds. Drinking.

My close circle of friend's and I record podcasts every few nights and we always get super baked before, which has been a ton of fun.

My favorite part of smoking is when the joint is done, don't fret cause a bowl is packed and ready to go!

 

agree with all of these. what kind of history are you into? (which time 'periods', or if you're into theory, thats wicked too)

I love it when my third eye come out and I feel that light headed feeling just before I know I am baked. Although I am a firm believer that it all depends on the type of weed you tend to smoke.

I really love deep conversations. I tend to talk a lot when I am really baked. My friends call it expounding. Anyway, noting better than sitting outside on a nice day and smoking and drinking a few nice beers or a good wine. Nothing better. I would love to just die that way.

 

I love exhaling the first hit and already feeling a little buzz. I like just bullshitting with the people I'm smoking with, and of course all the laughter.

 

I absolutely love Reconstruction in the U.S. after the Civil War. I think it's such a fascinating period in American history. I've been really into that period lately. I just bought a book on reconstruction by Eric Foner, looks like a good read. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to read it as I have a shit load of other stuff that I HAVE to read haha.

The fall of the Roman republic is pretty interesting too, although I really don't know too much about that. I also find the Persian wars to be fascinating. I dunno, I pretty much love all history! You?

Oh, and I forgot, I also like studying the cultures and practices of peoples in the past.

depends on what im smoking.. if im smoking mids i love just having ridiculous conversations and playing games. if im smoking dank (aka get really fucking high) i like to be by myself and eat a ton of food and just relax.

waking and baking is one of my favorite things to do ever, just lighting up a bowl before i even get out of bed, then going downstairs and making a wonderful breakfast and coffee and spending the morning playing roller coaster tycoon and video games and playing with my dog and shit

 

that is way to hard of a question for me, its like which do you like more, food or water

but the best part is the feeling of calmness i get from it.during the time im high i feel great like my issues dont even matter.gives me the 2 hour break where i do absolutely nothing like my therapist said all humans need,he also said getting stoned is a great way to do it!

 

I haven't done much American history, but I do love studying North American history in general. I am a big fan of just about any period in history, and I absolutely love studying "the study of history" (yea, can you say nerd!!?). I just usually get upset studying very ancient history because it is so often badly written about, mischaracterized and shit.

My favorite periods to study are probably continental european medieval history, south american history pre-1500, chinese dynastic history and the interwar period of the 20th century. but im a general history buff and ill fuckin eat any history book you throw at me!
