Through the past few months I have become increasingly able to control my body. My senses have heightened and I am starting to realize something before it happens. Some examples include: smelling individuals on a different basis. For instance, I can comprehend someone's scent, and learn about them. Things other than odor, such as personality traits. smelling food inside my body. I have been noticing certain foods smell different when digested, and by paying attention I've started to realize a lot of chemical-containing food that I was eating. I can literally smell if it decomposes into/from harmful substance. Different bugs have started to be attracted to me, appearing on or near me then being gone. I understand they are attracted to the energy that is being out putted by me. I can look into someone's eyes and "see" their thoughts. Making clouds disappear, or causing breaks in jet's trails in the sky. Dreaming in intense perception. For instance, I dreamed of flying above a city, landing on a skyscraper, and sitting at the edge pondering what I was actually doing, what it meant to dream, where I was, etc. I sat on that building for 30 minutes or so. Very intense. I've also noticed more happenings in my body. Any pain can now be pinpointed and stopped. In addition I've started to see the inside of my body more clearly. Bones, organs, blood, etc can be viewed. All of these things have only come into being within the past 6 months. I've always been sensitive spiritually but these occurrences are very strange. Not strange in a bad way, but strange in a sense like nothing I've ever felt or heard of. Has anyone else been through these stages? If so what did you do to understand more clearly? If not what happened? --Steve
^ lol. This is the lifelong journey of becoming completely aware, and being aware with every ounce of our senses. I myself have learned, since the start of my spiritual journey, to control body temp. to an extent, feel energy and realease muscle cramps/tightness, heal wounds, vaguely feel interior of my body, i can feel the air flowing through my entire cardio system, i can feel toxins in my blood sometimes.
Just FO these outside messages. Each of us has our own journey. The task for each of us is to determine the message of the universe to us alone...and it's not necessarily easy. However I can tell you that you're not alone in experiencing very weird shit...what it means is for you to determine...
I can recognize people's individual scents, especially my husband's mating pheromones, but socially it's a little difficult to get close enough to most people for that. ;P I don't know if pheromones are doing it, but I generally have good instincts about people. I can also recognize the odor of influenza. For some reason (if anyone else has noticed this, please tell me), when a person has the flu they emit this horribly foul odor that repels me on every instinctive level. It pervades the entire space they occupy, but it helps me care for them as they recover (Yeah, I'm a healer personality.). Clean out the odor as soon as recovery starts, and they recover much more quickly. I can feel when my blood sugar is low, when my electrolytes are off, and when my iron is off. I can feel when certain foods just are not good for my body, which in part prompted me into vegetarianism and is edging me towards raw vegetables, nuts, and less processed foods. I don't think I'll ever be "raw vegan," but I get close from time to time. I've noticed that my body, while in pain and grouchy at the world, feels what I can only call "happier" when my cycle hits. It's like a month of biological stress is letting go in a few days, which may just be what all that PMS crap is. Who knows? Right now, I'm starting yoga (again. . . ). I'm learning where my biggest tension centers are in by body, and that with the first few asanas my body seems to start evacuating various oils and gases. It's a little gross, but it feels like a good thing. Spiders seem to flock to me whenever I get emotionally upset. Maybe it's a pheromone thing, but I also dream about them in freakish swarms when upset. Best I can figure, I have a totem animal. I'm arachnophobic, too, which makes that a little odd. The dream you're describing is called a lucid dream, and can be a lot of fun. It may also have been an astral projection, if it was in that much detail. On a lighter note, my pet mouse just shat on me and I now know my place in the universe.
For the past few months almost every time I have taken a psychedelic substance I will see a frog or a slug at some point. Really strange.
There is a certain state of mind this all usually occurs. It is brought about in various ways but all instances feel similar. So we'll call this "singularity," just for purposes. The other night I did something very interesting. I was sitting on the porch of a friend's. We had gotten mixed up on times and I was waiting for him to get there. While waiting I was staring up into the stars, my mind opened up, and I entered into this state of mind. I immediately recognized the state, looked to a blank portion of sky and produced a shooting star. I can't explain how or what exactly I did. I basically looked to the sky, and thought, streak. And that's what I got. I've also noticed that as I enter this state more often, I am able to utilize it, in a sense, more so than when I started. When I first started entering singularity, I would think about the state itself and would be quickly returned to normal. Same thing happens when I notice the insects around me. They quickly move away when I pay them too much attention. More products of these singularity moments include answering questions without ever previously knowing answer, predicting outcomes, influencing people, channeling music to play on guitar, and producing atmospheric anomalies. All-in-all a very interesting and productive experience.
A few shots of vodka will take care of all those feelings, no prob. Also, if God had meant us to have odors, he wouldn't have given us flower-scented perfumes and deodorants. In today's modern a-go-go world, there is no reason to have odors, and everybody should just stop it, pronto.
Yeah right, tikoo. You know we're all responsible for those shooting stars. We're just not aware of it most of the time. Anyway let The Guardian take responsibility for now - it's his shift, and I need to attend to my video game...
Hmm, I want to know what your on.... My parents, well my mothers side of the family all have very spiritual beliefs and can sense things, but I think I'm totally numb to all of that (self inflicted numbing) The only thing I can really gusse is linked to any of that, is sometimes I can sense when something is about to happen - not obvious things. Like for example I was at the opposite end of my house and I just knew someone was coming to my door - no way of telling it, couldn't hear anything - couldn't see...walked up to my door and WHAM - Knock knock. Maybe? No? Yea? Kinda? Or just..No? I have no idea. Another thing is wild life is attracted to me, mainly butterflies. They land on me and just wont go away - until i physically pick them off and move away slowly. Yea? The only other instance that I can think of, when I was younger - never really happens anymore is a zoning out feeling. Almost as if I move back really fast and I gain an extra wider view of all my surroundings. It would normally happen when watching TV? :S As you can tell I really don't know if this is linked to what your going on about (sorry for not using the right terminology) Last but not least, soon as I hit the pillow I have a falling feeling. But a calm falling feeling - almost like I'm leaving my body and going straight through the earth - I used to really enjoy that If anyone can relate, or let me know what these things were all about - please reply
Sounds to me like you take after your mother's family. And the door thing is legit. You're unsure about it cuz you haven't focused on it much or had much experience with it. The more you focus on it, the more experiences you'll have, and the more clearly you'll recognize how it feels and know it for what it is - spiritual sensing.
I think that experiencing various types of "death" are responsible for these new found states of mind. Through psychedelics these can be attained, but also without. Don't get me wrong, an experience with mushrooms has forever changed who I am, and salvia aided in my ability to break through. Outside of the realm of drugs, as I understand they are a bit scary to some, the same effects can be attained. But without ever knowing what it is like to cross over, it's a little harder to do so, hence why it is rare for anyone to experience. Controlling breathing is very effective at training the mind. Breathe in the nose, count to 4, breathe out the mouth, count to 4, and repeat. (the counting serves more as a training process for the mind. If you merely breathe in the nose and out the mouth repeatedly, things will start to happen) I actually stopped breathing for a few minutes using these techniques. The idea of these various stages of death within life come from Taoist studies. I recommend "Opening the Dragon Gate" if you want to understand reality more soundly. Basically there are major and minor deaths. You have to experience a certain number of deaths to achieve transcendence. All major prophets go through these stages, even if not out rightly spoken. Exodus's into solidarity generally fall into this category as well. The problem with calling such an experience "death" brings about the stigma of physical death. It is not a physical death by any means (I'm starting to wonder if physical death even has to happen), but more so an evolution of the spirit into a greater realm of consciousness. Perceptions change, understanding increases, knowledge and appreciation of love come hand in hand, among other great changes. We each are a microcosm of the universe. We each expand and contract on an ebb and flow along with the universe. Changes in the earth, society, and perception are reflected through us. Understand you are a mirror and you will see yourself.
Guardian, I don't think the experience is as rare as you think...but your point about the breathing is very interesting and jibes with other stuff I've seen, and I'm interested in trying this...it's been a long time since I reached this plateau and I'm thinking maybe it's time for a new push forward. Fascinating stuff, your thoughts on deaths make good sense - thank you for coming here to help. If I try the breathing I'll be back to report my findings.
You're most definitely correct about it not being a rare occurrence. What I meant was that it is not something I have ever heard anyone around me discuss. That does not mean that it doesn't happen, so that's my mistake. With the breathing examples, try to picture the air going in and out of your lungs, and do this for at least 5 minutes. You'll be amazed at what you'll start to see after only that long. Perhaps an Xray-like view of you're body? I'd say so. P.S. Start with the neurons
