I often feel that many of the FAQ's can be answered by a simple physics lesson. So, here it is: And if you don't feel like reading all of those terms of art, I'll break it down for you. Length=Locks Loosies=Locks Less Area to Move= Less Locking Restricting Movement=No Locking Less Length= More Fall-out Slippery= No Locking And now some visual aids: Demonstrating that more length creates more opportunity for locking. Demonstrates the importance that loosies have in locking and hiding loopies
Nice! It's not exactly done for dreadies but some of the ideas can be used for dreads too I still want to believe though that there must be some more 'man-made' way to make dreads lock faster.... Since as it is the only answer is 'time'. anyone here want to make a paper on dreadlocking? xD EDIT: I've come up with the an idea..... stick your head in a box and tumble it around like they did to the string xD result? perfect dreadies every time =P P.S. I take no responsibility for any damage done to a person from following this advice.....
I flipped one of mine at the root and it just felt weird so I unflipped it. I can only really do it with maybe 3 of my dreads.. the others roots are too thick. those are some sweet diagrams btw
that was mighty kind of ya to do that im sure that will help some people with some confusion many thanks
