I do alot of Wing Chun Kung Fu and Tai Chi which all revolves around the energy of Chi. Harnessing this power and what have you.

Your concentrating on breathing with your eyes closed is a form of meditation that I do frequently. I've never seen "x-ray vision" of my own body nor do I know anyone else that has.

Doing this technique is great for a number of things and of course leads to enlightenment.

I would advise to do this technique properly, you go somewhere nice and quiet, relax, shut your eyes and concentrate on breathing (as stated above) - to start off with, do this for 5 minutes or until your mind starts to wonder..

After more and more practice you will be able to go longer spaces with a clear mind, complete stillness. When you finish, you will feel refreshed and happy. This is a great if you have an issue and what a new perspective on it.

I've always been very interested in Chi and it's properties. There was a video online I watched of a man in china who, after many years of training, could ignite balls of paper and create a very strong electrical current with his hands. He said the main focus was controlling emotions.

As for the x-ray thing, I was meditating just how I've been describing, focusing on my breathing and the air coming in and going out. Then I started to see my body from an outside point of view. I began really concentrating on it, and with the thought/intention of learning more about my own body, my body began to come apart then piece itself back together.

I saw the neurons spread out first, followed by veins, tissues, etc. Then the organs came into being, and fit together like a puzzle. Though it was not a long experience, it was very enlightening.

Now that's not to say I can just see through my body, or anything for that matter. But since that happened I can somewhat see parts of my body in great detail when meditating.

I've also become a lot more sensitive to my internal activities, what goes in my body, what effect is produced, etc.

    And things change everyday.

Very interesting post, thank you for sharing. Harnessing the power of Chi is a very useful skill. Just look at Yip man (I believe) a Master of wing chun. He is in his late 70s-80s and has never suffered any mental or physical issues and is still fighting fit (clearly visible)

He says this is all down to constant practice of Wing Chun and the essence of Chi.

If your interested in Chi, research Shaolin monks and how they harness the energy to make parts of their body indestructible. For example laying on a spear with nothing else to support them, you can see the spear doing into their stomach, but it never penetrates the skin.

I tried it for a short time on the commuter train this morning. Frankly I really didn't expect much, so I was surprised that after a very short time I started feeling like time was slowing down. Maybe I'll do some more of this...

I will definitely look up the Shaolin monks and Chi. I'm very interested in developing myself rather than destroy.

But seriously, if you like those types of topics, read Opening the Dragon Gate. It's the story of Wang Liping, who in the 1960s was sought out by 3 Taoist wizards and trained to become a transmitter of the Dragon Sect.

The book covers 15 years of Liping's training throughout China, and you would not believe the things he learns to do.

And it's supposedly true. He's still alive in China somewhere, teaching.

This is all cool stuff, of course, however I feel compelled to throw in a bit of perspective from Zen. There was a Zen master (I forget which one - this story is in Zen Flesh, Zen Bones if you want to find it) who was teaching his disciples, when a member of some other order of monks stood up and said something like, "My master can stand on a bank of a river and write his name in the sand on the other shore. What can you do?" The Zen master replied, "My miracle is that when I'm hungry I eat and when I'm tired I sleep."

Of course there are other Zen stories where Zen masters apparently answer their students' unspoken thoughts and predict the exact times and circumstances of their own deaths, etc. I guess the main point is that, at least in Zen, the miracles are not pursued for their own sake but are a natural by-product of enlightenment - and when miracles do occur the Zen practioners avoid clinging or attaching undue importance to them.

It reminds me a bit of something my spirit guide Deanna said to me some years ago, as she and I were walking together and I was trying to talk about our telepathic communications. She exuded her usual air of quiet, understated amusement and said: "Why would anybody want to talk about it?" But of course answering or commenting on my unspoken thoughts was something she did with sometimes disconcerting frequency...and she's laughing in my mind as I'm writing this.

psychic sex is , and balances with the all of creation , is literally to fuk the universal world lovingly .
itsa mind body balance toward above . sex is a power . what you gonna do with it when you ain't
baby-making ? weirdly it can get applied crudely and for instance fuses porno and powerpolitic .

pyschic sex needs to be akin to prayerfulness , dearest ladies and gents .
by this , all our humanworld population becomes intuitively balanced .
we shall balance . it really is about survival .

This is a major theme of the book I'm writing.

What more powerful incentive to be drawn into the spirit world? And what greater closeness can there be than between two psychically connected people?

between two ? or three or the blob . our essential life power is creative - sexual - like rock and roll raging divinely screaming . do we control it ? sure . but not too much in any particular way . balancing is that graceful art of tipsy-ness .

hey , zen , how styley is that book ? itsa romance and a song of all the little things ?

Yeah, the blob, sure. The book is about my life, and my life is full of questions and paradoxes: Psychic or psychotic? Freedom or prison? Romance or rejection? Spiritual challenge or emotional abuse? Enlightenment or deception? It's like the optical illusions: Is it a picture of a vase or of two faces? A young woman or an old hag? Ultimately it's both simultaneously, but we can focus on whichever we choose...I'm hoping the book will give help, hope, and inspiration to those looking for confirmation, and give cynics and skeptics a nagging discomfort that maybe just maybe there's more to the picture than what they've been seeing so far.
