Well i got caught with 2 grams of weed at school.(stupid i know).

But my dad thinks i need counseling and i told him i dont want to go.
Ive been to one before and they just piss me off telling me i have problems and shit.

But he said if i dont want to go my other option is for him to call the juvenile hall on me.

Can he actually do that and will i actually have to go ?
I live in oklahoma if that helps/

ur dads fucked up...its just pot, maby try to explain to him that its non-addictive:confused: and doesnt effect you in your everday life

My buddy got caught with an 8th in school, and got kicked out, he know goes to school at the local juvanial hall, but lives at home. So yea i would assume he could make you attend classes there, considering your only 16.

Your dad is not fucked up at all he is only concerned for you. He just doesn't have the same understanding of pot as you do. You could try explaining to him how you feel about pot and how you feel about seeing a therapist. But when you do don't just get angry and yell at him when he tells you that you shouldn't be doing pot. Just be honest and see what happens. You could also try the therapist and if you don't think it is helping, tell him that. Reassure him that you will not let the pot get outta control. Fighting with him will only make things worse so try to work with him not against.

agreed 100%. trust and respect are two way streets; treat your parents with said trust and respect and they'll return it to you, maybe not instantly but with time i assure you.

Tell him you won't smoke any more weed, you are just going to get drunk and smoke alot of cigarettes because your government says tobacco and alcohol are ok to use.

Go to the therapist and be happy you aren't getting in real trouble.

Ok then. How about inhaling dustoff, smoking salvia and chugging cough syrup for legal highs. Let's face it, the only reason people do this shit is because they fear persecution for wanting to use a safe substance like cannabis (slavia is pretty safe, I just listed it due to its popularity among teens).
