Secondly, I think you misunderstood me, I was not attacking your beliefs, as I am glad you have found belief. I was attacking organised religion. The Christian church was founded in an attempt to control. Jesus caused a lot of chaos as the previous temple-goers now shunned this practice and would rather delight in the joys of life, and spread love to their fellow people. The only way that those in power could end this was by waiting until no-one could speak out against them. They did this, they waited until long after Jesus had disappeared, and long after his followers had disappeared. They then compiled the works of the apostles, and we have absolutely no evidence to suggest that a single word of this is true (or, on the contrary, false). They then rebuilt the temples, only they now worshipped Jesus, the man they had tried to stop, and they called him the Lord. People flocked to the temples, as they had seen that Jesus was trying to show them the right way, and they presumed that worshipping was the right thing to do. It was then that the true essence of Jesus' teachings died a death.

I think you have made a great choice in that you are following your own connection to God, rather than a falsified connection that the Church has tried to present to you.

I understand where your points are coming from, but you are speaking to me as if you have been where I am, and have progressed to where you are now. The fact is, I was saying the exact same things as you are only a year or two ago, and then I experienced God himself. God is not a being, I can tell you that with absolute certainty, and if you ever get the chance to come to England, I will meet up with you and I will show you.

Jesus was trying to show that we had spent too much time worshipping God as slaves, feeling that we are but ants in the grand scheme of things. Any believer who has spent a great deal of time and effort into finding out more about the life of Jesus, and has delved deeper than even the entire Bible can go, will tell you that he was no different from you or me. He was but a man, a man who realised that we are all born of God, we are all God's children in a playground created for us. The age old question that atheists often ask is "If God created us, why is there suffering?", and this is the reason. God does not punish his children, they do this themselves. If man chooses a life of sin he shall be rewarded with the eternal guilt and suffering of his own heart. If man however decides to open their eyes, to see the beauty of the masterpiece that was created for them, and the beauty of their creator, they shall be accepted back into the creators arms, and be one with God, very literally.

On to the point of "drugs". There is absolutely no such thing as a drug. Simply put, the definition of the word drug means anything that alters your mind or body when consumed. There is nothing in existence that does not do this in some shape or form, so therefore we are all using drugs, all the time. The Bible talks about the use of drugs, namely alcohol as it was the drug most abused at the time. We all know that the Bible promoted wine, for the happiness that it brought people, however the Bible also said:

The same goes for everything, moderation is key. It is no sin to drink, it is no sin to smoke, it is no sin to eat, it is not even a sin to stick a needle in your arm. It is a sin to drink too much, it is a sin to smoke too much, it is a sin to eat too much, and it is a sin to abuse the needle. God does not like gluttony, though in comparison to other sins it is a far lesser sin, and the alcoholic is no more evil than he who gets into an argument with his friend, and later regrets it.

I have not created any system of beliefs for myself, I believe only what God himself has shown me, I do not worry over little details, details that we would be stupid to guess at in this life. God is love and he who has love has felt God, and known what it is to believe. God is the essence of creation, that which was there before us, the be all and end all, everything, and nothing. God did not fashion us from the flesh of his being, he fashioned us from his imagination, we are but a figment of the mind that encompasses all. This makes God all, everything, and us but a nothing that would hope to one day once again become a part of everything. God is the Garden of Eden, and we left this Garden into the womb of creation, into the imagination of the Lord where our own world was dreamt up. We are nothing, and God is all. To love God is to love all, and this, this is why God asks us but to love all equally, for this is the only way to truly love God.

God warned us that there would be many false prophets, and the modern Church is sadly one of those. However, God does not judge one for their mistakes, the very nature of God is existence, not judgement. We have invented judgement for ourselves and it is what we call consciousness. We judge everything, and we make decisions based on it. This is not the essence of God, and we will only become a part of the Garden of Eden once more when this consciousness shuts off, when we are laid to rest we will see without eyes, we will hear without ears, we will speak without mouths, we will touch without hands, we will know without our minds. We will be, just as God is, all.

You are walking on the right path, because it is yours. I too am walking on the right path, because it is mine. We may follow different paths but we all have the same destination, and the means to get there are not to important as getting there itself.

Quieten the fire in your heart. He who knows God does not need to convert others, they will do so in their own time, even if it is the moment before they die when their life flashes before them. It is not our place to guide, it is only God's place to do so. Smile and know in your heart of hearts that what you believe is true, and that you do not need anyone else to confirm your beliefs, because you know.

I worship God in my own way. Belief is a wonderful thing. I beleive in God, I just don't beleive in religion. Religion is flawed because it's man interpretation of what God wants from all of us. If anything religion has turned more people away from God then it should. Also, if Jesus Christ gets you high then tell him to share.

 

Dude Jesus has been trying to get you blazed since the day you were born.. the problem is you are choosing other things over Him.. ask Him to fill you.. it might cost you something though.. BUT IT'S WORTH IT.
