I have always visited the lovely place, music etc and am deeply enthralled at it's kind people and comfortable area for open minded souls. I'm looking for any heads to point me into the proper direction where to look to live, affordable and such, downtown??? I dig some space as well, no pun intended haha, appreciate any help!!!
sorry im of no help...but i just wanted to say that asheville is a sweet ass town. coolest town in the east. i have some friends going to college there at warren wilson. cool college too, just expensive as hell. cheers =]
hey man, i lived in asheville for several years and will likely be moving back in less than a month. as far as where to live, i dunno your definition of 'affordable' lol but the most inexpensive places in a hip neighborhood are definitely in west asheville. downtown and north avl have some super sweet spots, too, but they're higher on the rent scale. some areas of west asheville are not the greatest, it's true, but that's true of any city, no? for the most part, it's chill people, groovy little happenings, and vibrant arts scene. feel free to message if i might be able to help! oh, i went to warren wilson, too...it is a great place, and DEF expensive :/ peace
Just moved to S.C. Greenville area. I wish I had looked closer. I would be live'n in ashville for sure. I lived in Mass. most of my life. Ashville is vary similiar to Northampton, mass. Hippy type people . Down to earth. My 2 cents don't help you , but you made better chouce than I did. Have fun.
I live right outside of Asheville. As a previous poster said, check out West Asheville, especially anything off Haywood Rd. GREAT neighborhood! Good luck! HillbillyAnn
Hey, this might help if you're still looking... here's a link with plenty of places in Ashville and surrounding areas to check out. Intentional Communities in North Carolina Good luck to ya, peace
what's up with some of these forums? Is this chic really posting a picture and saying PM me to a complete stranger?? I don't know about Asheville, brah. No help.
Spruce pines is not a bad place to hang your hat. and the area near chimney rock is pretty damn cool too. I also lived in North greenville county south carolina. ust stay clear of travelers rest. Black Mt is also a place you may want to check out.
