DO NOT CONDITION! That's the worse thing you can do. Also, start washing in water with sea salt every three days or so. It helps bond the dreads. Some people do the back combing thing, but I didn't do it and my dreads are coming along nicely. You should also roll your hair everyday. Do it back and forth in both hands not just with your fingers.

Just remember...it doesn't happen overnight. It takes time. If you really want them then you must be patient.

    Good luck!

Knottylocks.tk is what i recomend above ANY site.

The other sites are there to promote their produce not to help you with your dreads. Knottylocks.tk is a forum of lovely helpfull people who usually all have dreads or have had them and trust me they KNOW thei stuff.

My quick stop advice: NO DREAD PRODUCTS
    DEFINATLY NO WAX
    No rubber bands

I just back combed them once and left them TRUST me you dont need products. The only thing i use is a handmande Juniper soap from lush, its all natural products and doesnt make your hair smell or anything all it does is clean and take out the grease, it dries your hair out for you.
Other than that i just left my dreds.... they unraveled themselfs because they didnt likewhat i did to them.... and they raveled themselfs back up in a more comfortable way for themselfs :)
