    Yup, $.50.

However, if it's a rare coin then I am sure it's worth more. There are a lot of ways to see if a coin is worth more money but first you need to know how they are rated. Other factors are where they are minted and what year and so on and so fourth.

The average Kennedy Half Dollar is not worth that much more than face value. There are loads of them around and in circulation.

I had found some collector coins that were for the All Star game.. they were 1/2 oz silver and I got their weight in cash.. at the time, around $8.00..

when I was just a kid, my mom had a polar water bottle full of coins and 50cent pieces..
I took so many them and I was buying the Football stickers http://blujay.com/?page=ad&adid=2702242&cat=3022600 for the books back in the 80's..

lss.. The sticker book was full , but missing one Jack Ham sticker and I traded it for a OZ of green to my friend Ronny who collects steeler and football stuff in general..
I also sold him a neon lamp from a bar that said Steeler country for 50bucks and I found it in the abandon bar.. :D

When I first started gambling, the casinos used silver dollars as 1$ chips. Most or all were from the 1800s.I had a large amount and spent the damn things on nothing.Just this and that and now their gone.Don't know what they are worth now,but I need not concern myself 'cuz I don't have a one left.
