Medical Studies Prove The Extensive Damage LSD Does To The Body & Mind

That is the title of the most recent drug related hub from my new buddy
Hal Licino.
Some of you may remember this thread started by pr0ne420 which introduced us to this genius; LSD and Pregnancy;

Well as some of you know in keeping with my style I went on a rant here and on his hubs decrying his ludicrous claims. He quickly removed my comments and links to research and when I prodded him for an answer as to why, he managed to get my IP banned from Hubpages as a spammer.
I did manage to get through to him via e-mail and posting from other computers and challenged him to a public debate about LSD devoid of any immature name calling and focusing on verifiable scientific research.

Well he took up the gauntlet and published this hub in response;

I have gotten through about half of the research he has quoted and today posted my responses. Already in each instance I feel I have torn his remarks too shreds.
I encourage you to have a look at it and even participate in the debate.

This is an adult, mature debate and I wish it to remain so. If you want to post something in the way of a comment or references to research please do so in an adult and mature manner.

I managed to get this guy to agree to this only if it remains as a serious discussion. You can tell by the inflammatory title and his remarks about the research that this is hard for him to do. His usual tactic is to belittle and call people morons if they disagree with him. By maintaining an adult attitude and language I intend to show him for the ignorant fool he is.

Please check it out as it progresses and join in, but posting comments like "Your a fucking asshole! I trip every week and I'm fucking fine!" will not only not appear but also confirms and validates his position relating to drugs and those who use them. We don't want that.

way to go man. you have more ambition than me though. i work in a lab and have to read scientific journal articles for school...so when i'm at home that's the last thing i wanna do

Yes there was a thread about that was very active just last week.

 

Yes, Mainly I am on the side of truth and honesty.
As I continue in this I am also going to post info about HPPD syndrome as well as the psychological risks that may involved with using psychedelics.
Have to be realistic and honest. Physiologically LSD is very safe, HPPD being about the only risk of a physiological nature that seems to be verified by research. Psychologically is a different story. LSD isn't for everyone.

Thank you for doing this, it was an excellent read. I have done quite a bit of research over the last couple of years and this would have saved me a lot of time lol.

I'm currently having a debate with some people at work about LSD, and im hearing things like:
"Its called 'ACID' how can it not be bad for you?"
"It releases metals into your brain"
etc etc. all the usual crap.

And when i say do you actually know anything about LSD or have you ever done any research about it? the say "No i just know that its bad for you" or "It's a drug it of course its bad for your health"

I feel like im starting to make some progress though now, i have actually got one of them to at least Wikipedia LSD :cheers2:

Whats up with this Licino guy, I was just going through some of his threads and some of them seemed pretty inflamitory, kind of like a cross between our favorite junkie Rush and that loser Glen Beck.
