when i did lsd recently, i found that most electronics were very distracting and even sobering. I have a large tv in my basement and it remained a large rectangle of flashing light, instead of twisting image of surrealness...it almost feels as if your brain is trapped to think only within what the screen allows. I tried watching south park on comedy central but the time skips I experienced were so frequent that it felt as if I was missing important factors of the show, it was almost like part of myself was paying attention to the past, the present, and what will happen next in the episode. My mind felt it was branching to discover and analyze everything thay was occuring around me, at this point, focused on the tv. I decided to turn on my xbox music visualizer and found it a little better...but still constricting. It was as if i was being trained only to revelate within the constraints of a flashing image, it was almost scary in the dark basement. It made me feel trapped...Only when i dimmed the lights to a golden pulse, turned on some feel-good, ambient techno music (i recommend hallucinogen or shpongle or royksopp) did i feel at home. I paced the room, taking everything in and letting my mind wander over the surroundings, tAking everythiing in like a spinning funnel of curiosity. It all came in like a blank subterfuge of large amounts of information and the snew setting allowed me to process it at a relaxed and calm rate. Everything felt right and every oncein awhile i would change the lights, the song, or my movements and everything would feel defferent. This created a very good trip and also a very very very nice experience, laying the pavement for mulitple revelations... :)

I watched South Park during a bad trip once.
The trip was only bad because there was a sober person there who ruined the trip for everyone by talking the whole time and fucking with us.
None of us knew what to do and we felt trapped so we just watched episodes and movies.

South Park was pretty good on acid, lol, but isn't everything?
I remember all quiet then it shows butters saying "lu lu lu I've got some apples lu lu lu you've got some too." hehe

    :p

    :p

yea acid is fun if you take like 5 plus hits or however much it takes immobilize you in a fractal palace of colors sounds and emotions, all synchronized in futuristic high definition technicolor and whatnot.

or if you are already doing something that is fun and take a couple (i.e. burning man).

taking 1 hit and sitting in your basement watching television is depressing and wasteful, that is what beer is for.

i'd suggest next time, take at least 3 doses, find a comfortable position and don't open your eyes. revel in the beauty of the innerverse.

i would just go out in nature. in fact, that's really the only place i'd want to do that in.
i once tripped out on the life force of trees. :D
electronics make it a bit chaotic or just uncomfortable for me...maybe 'trapped' like you said. and commercials freak me out on any drug!

Actually I used to love watching the news on acid. It was just fucking surrealistically hilarious to see these fucking talking mannequins smiling as they inform you that 10,000 people are left homeless after some disaster.
Not hilarious about the disaster, just the whole concept of the media and how they try to present shit, and everything associated with it.

I can pretty much get into anything and enjoy it when tripping because I'm not just into that specific event or show, but all that splinters from it and is interconnected with it.

    Like I totally understand this;
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDRbnmjzY7U&feature=related
Her mind is going from one concept to the next connected concept and so on and so on until it brings her to her final realization, and all that happens in seconds.

I was watching fireworks one night after smoking some good buds.
As I sat there in a matter of a few seconds everything I knew or had ever learned about fireworks, the history, how shows are put together, how they are made, stuff I have experimented with as a kid, all came rushing into my consciousness and was all available and that instant I had a gestalt "knowing" of fireworks.
I feel that is one of the main ways psychedelics function. You can have instant access to everything your memory holds about a topic instantly and it all comes together as a whole thought, not a linear progression of memories and thoughts, but all in one shot it presents itself.

    I hope that makes sense.
I find that I more often than not think in that non-linear, whole concept fashion now, and even more so if on some psychedelic. Everything is interconnected.
    Anybody else relate to that?

that's pretty cool, pb. interconnectedness was definitely a major theme for me. during my first trip i started linking things together and then suddenly had a vantage point over it all. then at that point i astrally projected...which was pretty profound.

i definitely notice that every time pb. it's almost as if u don't have to try to spark thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc. from previous and present experiences. Although it all kind of jumbles into a heap of sentimentalism..the experience of self-exploration is fascinating to me. This may also explain how dreams work, kind of like a subconscious internal discovery of yourself through mixed exploitation of body and out-of-body revelation.

I remember watching the tooth fairy episode of southpark for the first time on lsd.

Needless to, kyle breaking the fabric of reality and morphing into a giant chicken squirell had me tripping out pretty hard.

Watching David Attenborough's Deep Sea documentary (volume turned off) whilst listening to Shpongle. The music is just as strange and interesting as the fish, I was laughing non stop for the whole doco :)
