Hello all, They say to really understand Taoism one must understand Confucianism, which I really know nothing of. Does any one know of an Alan Watts of Confucianism? Cheers!
Confucianism is a pretty decent philosophy to read over for fun, but I don't think it's necessary to understand Taoism. Confucianism is like teaching a child not to eat with his mouth open. Hoping that one day he will understand. I think social butterfly types already have Confucianism down. It is a good read though if you want a peephole into the culture of the time period though.
