My sons both have Apple computers and they have never had any problems such as I have constantly with my PC.It's become slow, infected and generally pisses me off. Is an Apple as easy to use?Operating system similiar?I don't use mine for much and I don't want to get into esoteric jargon --just --is it easy to use and would I be more satisfied with one? Thanks in advance.--------Joel[IMG]

Don't look into Linux, unless it's Ubuntu or other Linux-for-Windows-users distro. You'll have to spend a little bit of time with the command line, and some things take a bit of setting up, at least in my experience. Hasn't crashed yet, though.

Then again, most Linux distros are free, so you wouldn't be losing much if you don't like it.

Macs have a reputation for being really easy to use, but very expensive. I don't know how good they are, having never used one.

There's a store here in Eugene that has a bunch of re-built Macs for reasonable prices.I'll take my computer savvy son with me.They were around 250 including Key board and monitor. Thanks again.
