Hi, Might be going to /amsterdam in a couple of weeks. I know its a big place and there are loads to do, but i wanted to see if anyone has any advice. I want to find some like minded people. Basically i want to do some freaky shit. hahaha but fun of course. lol I was thinking of going to an orgy or something. the ideas of brothels i find unfulfilling! but i think orgies would be fun? Anyone have any recommedations?
Ok i have booked up for amsterdam now. I am traveling there alone, which i havent done before... Is traveling to amsterdam alone a good idea? would be great to meet up with anyone from this great forum while im over there. I am a 27 year old male. socialable and open minded.

amsterdam is a great city =) ive been there a few times and i was never disappointed.. i have no idea how to help u with orgies though. i mean i suppose its the same as everywhere, u dont just go around and find orgy partners like that. the sexy reputation the city has is just cuz of the legalized prostitution in the "red light" district, but well, they're regular hookers, so yea, i suppose u'd do with them the same stuff u could do with hookers in your country? i can recommend hostels tho, but i take it u already booked one, so well, too late! as for travelling there alone, its gonna be fine. dutch pple are friendly and there are LOTS of backpackers everywhere (who come from all over the world) so u'll make friends with pple easily.. enjoy your stay there!
ok cool thanks for your help everyone. i have booked a reservation at the flying pig back packers hostel which should be cool! as for weed, i will have a smoke. not a heavy smoker tho. I will definately get a bike out aswell. Hopefully i will meet others out there. hopefully not eveyone are in there own groups.
Check out the Vondelpark, check out some museums, rent a bike, get lost in the city's myriad of identical streets and alleys, eat some mushrooms, smoke a joint, have some sex. Loads of good things to do. Which flying pig are you staying at? I spent a week at the uptown one last year. Was most excellent. I went by myself, easy peasy japaneasy.

Amsterdam is WILD! You know the mannequins in the window? Yeah, those are hookers. Take your pick! I loved it, though. Beautiful city.
Amsterdam can be anything you want it to be- art loving, sex filled, normal touristy. Don't forget other parts of the Netherlands.
