    Hey people.

Hope all is well... sorry, been away for a while.. got into some things, its been crazy..

Anyhow, to make a long story short... I had some really stressful times hit me over the last few years... I was smoking daily, under a lot of stress, blah blah blah...

Anyhow, to make a long story short.. a few weeks back, I did mdma, and had quite an experience... (not like the jesus guy)...

Anyhow, I ened up making a lot of life changes, from cutting back on smoking (I only smoke on weekends now)... holy crap, its Friday :) - as well as a lot of other things...

you know, the first thing I noticed when I stopped was just how rediculously easy it was to cut back (and not smoke)... from the first day, it was easy... still is easy a month later...

Second thing I noticed was dreams... I never had dreams before... now from the moment I hit the sack, I am always dreaming... its incredible...

also, and best of all.. my tollerence is lower... I can acctually get high again..

Anyhow, this is kinda new to me.. I was wondering, if I stick to weekends, will my tollerence just keep coming down? I wouldn't mind even going ever 2 weeks if I could ever just get high like I use to... its kinda like I am remember what made me fall in love with this wonderful herb in the first place...

Anyhow, just wanted to say hi guys.. share the news... and ask - any advice on how to work with this tollerence thing to get the most out of weed again?

    Peace guys

Yeah your tolerance will definitely stay low if you smoke once a weekend, or every two weeks. That's great you had such a good experience with Molly. Afterglows from anything are always fucking divine... but one thing FORSURE is that if you want to keep the magical experience with MDMA keep your use to a definite minimum. Once you lose it it never comes back (at least for me). I over did it and waited 8 months to pop again and still was unsatisfactory. Then waited a year and the same thing happened, still disappointing.

I hope peace and good vibes stay your way!

i notice this when i stop smoking weed regularly also.. but i havent stopped smoking weed in a while these past several years.. for me, i think its because i go to bed stoned literally every single night.. not sure if i am not dreaming, or just not remembering them cause i was toasted when i passed out haha. people still tell me i talk in my sleep sometimes, which leads me to believe i am still in fact dreaming... but i dont remember a thing in the morning

well, if you want to get the absolute most out of weed, you should quit for a month or a little longer, let all the metabolites get out of your body and then your tolerance will most likely be totally gone... and then if you only smoke on weekends, or every other week, you will still get real baked like you used to way back in the day and you shouldnt have too much of a problem with your tolerance raising that noticeably... even if it starts to go up a little bit after a couple weeks, its still not gonna be anywhere near as much of a problem as it would be with smoking every day.

anyways, nice job on cutting down and rediscovering the herb.. thats always refreshing :cheers2:

I think more vivid dreams when you take a break is a common experience.

My personal theory is that pot actually disrupts your REM sleep, the deep sleep where you do your dreaming. Even though pot helps you fall asleep, it keeps you in a lighter sleep, so you dream less. The same thing happens with alcohol and many other drugs that people take for sleep.

    Just my personal theory.

    Hey guys,

Yea peaceinthestreets... I was studying molly and e for about a year before I tried... and heard a lot about the magic fading if overused... Sorry to hear its not the same for you... hopefully you just need a longer break.

It will definetly be a part of my life, but, I think more like mushrooms (i.e. 2-3 times a year)... keeps it special that way.

chadc01 - I'm going to try your month idea too... although that seems kinda tough, I thought giving up my daily routine would be hard, and it wasnt... Now that we smoke on weekends, I acctually look forward to it (vs. its just something I did), and like I said.. I get quite blazed now... its magic again :)

The dreams too, man, they are still going, Ahimsa, I know what you mean by deep sleep... I acctually had insomia for the last 1/2 year, and its now gone.. I just never felt like I was ever in a "deep sleep"... passing out on the couch was easy, but sleeping in bed was hard, and always seemed very light...

wierd, even a indica wouldn't put me in a deep sleep..

Anyhow, its all good... Other than the weed too, I made so many changes lately because of the m (but hey, thats all in another forum :)

    peace guys

i ironically only smoked one blunt from the day before thanksgiving through the day after. this is an unusually small amount of bud considering my tolerance. also, i barely ate anything at thanksgiving hah

it definitely felt like being so sober after smoking so much was a new high in itself. it felt even better to hold off and just wait a few days. even a small break can lower your tolerance. i just smoked 2/3 of a blunt and i'm lit.

That's cool man, I love to hear stories about postive experiences with drugs, and the refreshing fact that it really isn't such a hard to ask to stop smokin for a bit.

i tihnk im gonna try for the same, i aint smoked for a few days, instead of just jumping on the next chance to buy or smoke, im gonna be good for a bit, and smoke and see if it gets that first time like expriences haha.

My tolerance is literally 3 hits and I am BAKEDDDDD. It's so bizarre. I've developed a high sensitivity to it because of certain events that happened, though... (I even sometimes feel like I can get high without smoking, which is scary).
