I have a 5 acre pasture sitting, and another half-acre that could easily be garden space. The pasture's zoned agricultural and half an hour from downtown Dallas, easily accessible from the bus lines. I'm hoping to put a big garden in in the spring, and possibly doing some pastured poultry for ethically raised chicken and turkey for the freezer next fall. (Goats are also a possibility, but dairy's a daily commitment that I don't have the time or equipment for; the pasture won't support even one cow without supplemental feeding and poultry's a better use.)

However, it's a lot of work for one person and this year's experiment showed me that the only vegetables I can grow with the amount of labor I can provide myself is zuchini (which even I can't kill).

Anyone interested in helping for a share of the produce and as an experiment in shared urban eco-munity?

I wouldn't be able to be a regular contributor, but I don't live far from you, I wouldn't mind taking a little trip to meet and see what you have going on, always good to meet locals of like mind :)
