So about two weeks ago I started dating this girl. She is my first girlfriend (meaning I have never kissed anybody, this is important). Tonight we had the usual group over at her house for a movie and after they all left she blatantly tried to get me to kiss her. I was going for it but then got nervous and wimped out. We are both shy people and I know it took a lot for her to do that. I have been beating myself up over it ever since I got home and I am hoping that she doesn't see this as me not liking her. I am trying to decide whether to explain to her why I didn't kiss her or if I should just wait for the next opportunity and go for it. What do you guys think?
Have a heart to heart talk with her perhaps? If you have never kissed a girl before, then am I right in assuming that you want your first kiss to be experienced in a special and romantic setting rather than in a spur of the moment type situation?
